Jonas Hoglund came over to Atlanta from the New York Islanders for Todd Harvey and prospect Aaron Lobb. Having lots of trouble finding a 3rd line right wing, general manager Brian Blake hopes that Jonas Hoglund is the answer. Vrbata and Hoglund both have been disasters on the 3rd line right wing spot, although Tie Domi has more than stepped up in that role. Tie Domi is more of a 4th liner though and Hoglund's great play in the CTCHL this year has turned heads and he may be the perfect fit for that 4th line spot. Hoglund is a very disciplined player and that should help this team who struggles keeping their emotions in check. Hoglund is an upcoming unrestricted free agent and he will be fighting for a contract with Atlanta for the rest of the year.
