Here are the players that retired in Atlanta Thrasher uniforms.

Centre

Ray Ferraro

Ferraro, Ray

Was picked up at the trade deadline to add some experience and leadership during a very hard time in Atlanta, as the team was on a skid. Unfortunately the team did not make the playoffs, but it certainly learned a lot from Ray in the short time here.

Left Wing

Bob Probert

Probert, Bob

Bob decided to sign with Atlanta for his last season in the CTCHL. He wanted to show that Atlanta is the strongest and toughest team in the NHL and he also wanted to add more experience and leadership to a team that did not have much.

Left Wing

Stu Grimson

Grimson, Stu

Since the first season of the CTCHL, Stu Grimson has been a Thrasher. He was acquired mid season of the first year and ever since then he has been giving a 110% every shift he was on the ice. He served as an alternate captain of the Thrashers for 2 years.

Defenseman

Dave Manson

Manson, Dave

When the Atlanta Thrashers needed a rock on the blueline of the farm team, Dave signed with Atlanta to teach the young defensemen what it is like to play in the CTCHL. All Atlanta defenseman gained valuable experience from Dave that will help them.

Centre

Roman Lyashenko

Lyashenko, Roman

Condolences go out to Roman from the Atlanta management, players as well as the fans. Roman's life came to a sudden end, and we would like to remember him. Lyashenko had great potential to be a very good defensive centre in the league.
