Stu Grimson was acquired 2 weeks before the trade deadline along with a 5th round pick for Jeff Cowan. Stu Grimson is also known as the Grim Reaper and is also considered one of the best fighters in the CTCHL. Stu served as an Alternate Captain for the Thrashers at one point, but has now retired. Stu Grimson was a hard worker with great leadership, experience and intensity. He wasnt afraid to stick up for his teammatees and isnt afraid of no one in the CTCHL. He was considered the toughest and best fighter and goon in the CTCHL. He is a big left winger at 6 foot 4 inches of height and weighing 240 lbs. With his time here in Atlanta, Stu played on the 4th line with Tie Domi making one of the best fighting duos in the CTCHL.
