Here we see who the captain and alternate captains of the Atlanta Thrashers are.

Being one of the older players on the Atlanta Thrasher team, Steve Staios has shown great leadership and has become close friends to General Manager Brian Blake. All this has given Staios the C on his jersey. Blake and Staios go back to the days when Steve Staios was still on the Canucks.

Tie Domi is one of the older players on the young Thrasher team and he will bring the much needed leadership and experience. Domi is a player every team wants, a hard worker who will stick up for others, and who does lots of charity work.

Dany Heatley is a future superstar in the CTCHL and has shown he is certainly captain material down the road. He will take some of the load off of Simon Gagne's shoulders as they both are very young but mature. Both will grow and mature in Atlanta.

Simon Gagne becomes the Atlanta Thrashers first alternate captain at only 20 years of age. He has shown leadership and is the true leader of this team. He has shown signs of brilliance and there will be a heavy load on his young shoulders to lead this Atlanta Thrasher team.
