Back To Atlanta Thrashers CTCHL Home
One of the toughest players in the CTCHL. He is only 5 feet 8 inches tall but he isnt afraid to square off and dance with anyone. He already is one of the top fighters in the CTCHL. Tie Domi can also put the puck in the back of the net if he has to.
Krzysztof Oliwa is known as the Polish Power. He is a great intimidator. After each fight when he is in the penalty box he wears this evil and scary looking smile. He almost looks devilish. No wonder most opponents are scared of him.
With the loss of Probert, Grimson and Manson someone had to fill one of these vacant enforcer spots. In came Jody Shelley. Shelley signed as an unrestricted free agent and has been a fan favourite ever since as he is willing to go with anyone.
Scott Parker was once quoted saying "The only fights I like to win are when the other player is laying on the ice...unconscious." When he entred the league even the established tough guys were scared and avoided him not wanting to fight him.
Big tough defenseman trying to make a name for himself as one of the elite fighters. He is big at 6 foot 5 inches and 225 lbs. Can play both defense and wing, but on Atlanta he will be a big defensive presence who will continue to rack up penalties.
Darcy Hordichuk is very young and loves to fight. In fact a true story is that the first day of training camp he asked Denny Lambert if they could fight eachother. He just loves fighting. He is young and he still has to prove himself in the big league.
PJ Stock is one of the most entertaining fighters in the CTCHL. Even though he is small he gives a hundred percent when he fights and usually gets the crowd into the game. He is like an energizer bunny. He is certainly a crowd favourite.
Bryan McCabe is one of the best hitters in the CTCHL. He is the inventor of the double-cheek hit and also uses another weird checking technique called the straight-arm. Not only can he hit but he is dirty and can fight as well when he stands up for team mates.
One of the dirtiest goalies in the CTCHL if not the dirtiest. He will whack players if they stand in his crease. He also likes dropping the gloves. His most famous moment was when he pummelled Tommy Salo and challenged the whole Islanders bench to a fight.
Steve Staios is a checker but he can really dish it out. He can throw some lefts and rights and also punishing bodychecks. He is a great captain and he leads the team with effort, physical play and sound positional play.
Although Sean McMorrow is still only a prospect he is a Georges Laracque in the making. He is already the toughest player in the CHL and has played street hockey with the General Manager Brian Blake in the ghetto of Toronto, Scarborough.
More of a pest more than anything, he annoys opponents and can drop the gloves as well. Plays with his heart on the sleeve. Gritty, determined, tough, strong. Characteristics of a hockey player that Adam Mair definately has.
Sort of in the mold of Steve Staios. Tough defenseman who will drop the gloves. Great physical game, is not afraid to dish it out as well as go toe-to-toe with anyone. This kind of toughness is needed on the defensive corps.
Another defensive defenseman that can dish it out, kind of like Jay Harrison. He is a tough defenseman who sticks up for his teammates if he needs to. He is compared by some to Derian Hatcher, because of his size and mean streak.
