5’11” 180
Point Guard
West Virginia Mountaineers
Freshman
Birthdate:
National Christian Academy, VA
Strengths: Hargett has amazing quickness and athleticism. He is a high rising player who is an amazing dunker and has a exception crossover dribble. The physically mature and strong Hargett, doesn't lack any confidence. He will take over games with his offense. He has scary range on his jumper and is almost a threat anywhere inside half court. He has very good handles and can pentrate well. In general he makes good decisions with the ball. Gets teammates involved well and is a good rebounder. Good at getting to the passing lanes on defense and is a master at picking players off the dribble.

Weaknesses: Size will be Hargett's biggest weakness. Being below 6 feet will make many teams think twice about drafting him even though he has good strength. His character caused some schools to not to recruit him and that may cause NBA scouts to be wary. He isn't as pass first PG and he doesn't always make his teammates better. He will have to learn both of those before becoming a good NBA point guard.

Outlook: Hargett came close to declaring last year and at that time stated he planned to enter next year. It would be in his best interest for him to stay in school for at least two years. The NBA hates young point guards espically ones under 6 feet with character issues.. Still teams will take a chance on him next year, most likely in the second round. He has all the tools to be an NBA player but he draft decision and could prevent that.
