I was with Mukund, Sara, Keerthy, Bharat, Rajesh and Madhu on a 9 days Italy Tour from 23rd Dec till 1st Jan.We celebrated New Year in Rome

Day1(23rd Dec): Morning 10 AM Eindhoven to Koln(Germany) at 1.30PM

Myself, Sara and Madhu. Saw famous Dom in Koln (full view of City from Top of Dom). Also important were two Long Bridges in Koln.

9PM started our journey to Milano along with rest of the people.

Day2(24th Dec): Reached Milano at 8AM

Roaming in Milano for the whole day, main attractions were Nepolean's Museum, City Shopping Center and many more monuments.

7PM Started to Bergamo a place near Milano. Surprising thing was that we have to wait for 3 hrs for a journey of 1 hr in Milano. Moved from one plateform to other 2-3 times, finally reached Bergamo at 12 midnight. There was heavy snow fall that day and we had to walk on snow for 1 hr to reach at youth hostel. All the bus service got canceled due to snow and late night.

Day3(25th Dec): Started at 9AM to Venice, have to take a break journey at Vicenza a place near Venice famous for gold hand crafting. Spend night at youth Hostel

Day4(26th Dec): Reached Venice at 10.30AM. best city surrounded by River. main attractions were Rialto Bridge, St. Mark's Cathedral, St. Mark's Roco. Went to Florence in the evening.

Day5(27th Dec): Reached Florence, another beautiful City in Italy. weather was bad so decided to go to visit Pisa, a place near florence famous for PISA's Leaning Tower(one of the seven wonders of the world). Spend full day there.

Day6(28th Dec): Have a look around in Florence for the whole day. main attractions were Boboli gardens, Piazza Piti, Piazza Michelangelo( famous sculpturist). Also took a cable train to reach the highest point of florence. Midnight reached Napels, a city at the coast of Italy

Day7(29th Dec): weather was bad so in the morning went to Pompei a place near Naples, famous because this city was destroyed by valcono in 18th Century.  Ruins of the city were still available in this city, including stones body, ruined houses etc. In the evening came back to Naples and went for a city walk in Naples.

Day8(30th Dec): Had a quick look around the Naples in the morning, went to see Visuvius(valcono) from an iland in Naples.

Started our final journey to Rome at 11.30AM from Naples. Reached Rome at 1.30PM.

first went  to see famous Colosseum in Rome after that some monuments near to Colosseum. Evening went to Terni a place near Rome where we had our YH bookings.

Day9(31st Dec): Went to Rome again to see other monuments. main attractions were Vatican City, St.Pieter's Santangelo(a beautiful and huge building). From the top of which one can see almost the whole Rome. Other attractions were fountain and night life of Rome.

In the evening celebrated New year in Terni with our Youth Hostel owner
