Cripple Creek's Promise Land

Cripple Creek's Promise Land was bought by Terry Williams from one of Chuck White's friends out of Promise Land, Arkanas. In June of 1996 he was a little 1,150 pound calf. Terry Williams saw that the bull had potenial, so he took him home and let him grow up. November of that same year he weighed 1,500 pounds. Now he weighs 2,000 pounds. According Cody Lambert, the PBR Livestock Director, says he spins faster and jumps higher than a bull his size ought to be able to do. Promise Land has won 1999 Co-Bull of the Year and High Money Bull for 2001. He once bucked so hard at Charolette with Tuff Hedeman his foot went through the dirt and he slipped on the concrete. Cripple Creek's Promise Land was retired at the 2003 Tuff Hedeman Challenge in Fort Worth, Texas.
