Macclesfield 2 -2 Utd Goal scorers Osman, McGill. League position 24th. Att: 2383
Team: Glennon -7, Shelley -6 , Kelly -6, Taylor - 7, Murphy -6, Baldacchino -7 (McGill - 7), Osman - 8, Summerbell - 7, Magennis -6, Farrell -6(McDonagh -7), Sutton - 7. Subs not used, Birch, Keen, Wake.
3 games Man of the match. Leon Osman, today he was involved in the game right to the end and Macclesfield only answer was to hack him down.
3 Games comment. Today we may have just started to turn the corner. We showed the same grit and determination that hallmarked our play when things came good last season and that determination got us the deserved equaliser. Glennon looked commanding in goal. Taylor showed no lack of pace and seemed much more confident away from home. Sutton when asked to be the lone man up front responded well. Macclesfield picked up 6 bookings and more could have been justified, at times there only answer was to manhandle our players.
