The Monthly Tournament
This is what you've all been waiting for! A chance to demonstrate to the world your hunting prowess! The Monthly Deer Hunter 2 Tournament has arrived! Read the rules below to compete.
Entering The Tournament:
There is no actual sign up required to compete in The Tournament. All you must do to join The Tournament is send in your big buck by the last day of the month. No email or form needs to be filled out to compete. Simply kill the buck, trophy him, and send the screenshot of him to me no later than the last day of the month. Read on for more detailed rules and regulations.
The Tournament Rules:
-You must use Deer Hunter 2.
-First, kill and trophy the buck you would like to enter into the tournament. The buck must be killed during the month of the tournament and in the designated state of the tournament.
-Then take a screenshot of your trophied buck by pressing F12 while looking at your buck in the trophy room. The screen shot will end up in your Deer Hunter 2 directory named "scnshot.bmp".
-Send only ONE screenshot of your buck to me via email to sign up for the tournament. The email address is at the bottom of the page.
-The winning buck will be posted along with its hunter's name at the beginning of the next month. The winning buck will be judged on the following criteria in the following order: biggest (most points), highest firearm score, quality of weapon (the weaker the better), and irregularity of buck. If for any reason two or more hunters tie according to the criteria above, a week-long tie-breaking hunt will take place.
-Altered screenshots will be disqualified from the tournament.

Current Tournament: The December 2000 Deer Hunter 2 Tournament has begun! The Tournament will take place in the state of WASHINGTON. You must trophy and submit your big WASHINGTON buck to my email address by December 31. Now get out there! Good luck!
