10 Things every Horse Owner/Barn should Have

Besides the basics (tack, grooming supplies, helmets, first-aid, etc) here's 10 things, in no particular order, every horse owner should have at the barn.

1. Chicago screws and a screwdriver--for when tack decides to fall apart!
2. Double-end snaps--They break often and are often needed.
3. An extra halter & lead--In case your horse's gets torn or lost.
4. Hand sanitizer--no comment needed!
5. A fire extinguisher
6. Duct tape--for when a horse loses a shoe. Tape up the hoof for padding and protection.
7. A dry erase board & markers--to leave notes on.
8. A phone, cell phone or walkie talkie--in case of an emergency.
9. Flashlights--for when the lights go out.
10. People's aspirin and bute for horses--in case a human or horse, respectively, needs them.
