High Power Limit
As for the XP-310...if
you just straight saw one of the nozzles off, such that it becomes about a
7x hole, it makes a wonderful shotgun blast that goes about 30 ft. This is
really the only feature of the gun I like. It has the thin water tank which
might break, and has. It's body halfs are semi-flimsy. I cracked a 310 several
times trying to get it open in a combat zone when it had rusty screws. Also,
keep the pump cap on that thing, cause if ya don't, the pump will sooner or
later come out! I repaired several XP-310s from broken and cracked tanks to
broken guages to cracked internals. I think it is a good grunt weapon to hand
to your everyday soldier. Also, the trigger has a very hard pull...making
rapid shots difficult, because of a miss-aligned trigger pull system, creating
friction. I am not a fan of the XP-310 because I have had to repair them so
much. I think the CPS-1000 is a truly beautiful weapon.
As far as combat goes...two soldiers armed with XP-310 might be able to outflank
a soldier carrying a CPS-1000, but probably not without one recieving a deadly
shot to the chest before the CPS-1000 soldier is taken out.
I would much prefer a CPS-1000 over an XP-310. It, and the more modern CPS-1200
carry on the assault rifle heritage, following where the XP-150 once dominated.
I don't prefer the CPS-1200 bulkiness compared to the CPS-1000s compactness
and smoothness, but I would prefer the CPS-1200s check valve, for it allows
for mods nearly rivaling the CPS-2000 in power and speed. Perhaps a CPS-1000
shell with modded CPS-1200 internals. Now THAT would be the absolute last
word in finest assault rifles. I just might have to do that!
hehehe....
