Here is a good example of what I am talking about. You will notice the blaster on the left has a somewhat spacey look, with bubbles, and hoses built into the molding. But still, it looks good!!! Now, look at the blaster on the right. It has the same two bubble chambers, and hoses in the molding, yet compared to the one on the left, looks rather bad. Why?

I think it is more than just 'spacy'. I think it is the way the design is applied. You could have blasters of almost identical description, yet look totally different. So, sometimes, spacy is good, like a tough sci-fi transformers spacy, but usually spacy just means yucky cartoon bubbly twisted and neon spacy.
