This strap system is by no means superior to the best, but you will have
peace of mind knowing your gun is at least safe from the stock Super Soaker traps.Ok, for this one, here is what you do:
1. Get some parachute cord
2. Take off your SS trap
3. Cut parachute cord to desired length, plus 2 ft., one for each
end for the knot tying.
4. Melt the ends of the cord so it doesn't fray, and as it is
cooling, roll it and press it with something, so it won't dry and then be sticking out,
not fitting in the hole.
5. Tie each end with a bowline knot
6. Stick your SS trap back on, and adjust it to the same length
as the cord, but no longer.
This system is designed for an immediate improvement. If
you have plenty of time, you could just go with a better strap system.
