Here we have Shepards Hot Spring. Rumor has it the name was given to this one because in years past the shepards actually used to bathe in it while tending their herds. Its rather small, can be busy, water temp can be controlled by the tube leading into it and the handle on top to control the flow of water. It has 4 seats in it. I have soaked here before and it was very pleasant for 1 person. Never had more than that in there while I was there. Reaching it can be difficult in wet times, even when it is dry, the road to it is a rough one. Not to take all the fun away from the hunt to find it, you take the main road from Hwy 395 at the green church to the first dirt road you get to on your left and follow it around till you find a Single pine tree, then you can look for it, at that point- you are pretty close.
