Congratulations to the 2006 California state champion Fullerton Hornets! Their 81-67 win over West Valley made them just the fourth team to finish the season as undefeated state champs, and the first since...Fresno, last year. (Of course, viewers of this site knew back in the fall they were a very good team after hearing about how they shut out Santa Monica for an entire half in a showcase game last October).
And Congratulations also the Mt. San Antonio womens team, which also won the state championship! This was probably the best womens JC team I've seen in my (somewhat limited) coverage the last few years.
