It was a foul-filled game (49 personals, 4 technicals), and Moorpark lost 2 key starters to foul trouble midway through the 2nd half. PF Dallas Townsend went to the bench with his 4th foul early in the half but returned with just over 11 mins left and Moorpark trailing, 41-33. Townsend scored 9 pts in the next 3 minutes, but picked up his 5th foul fighting for a rebound with 8:17 left and the score 43-42 SBCC. The Vaqueros restored their comfortable lead, which was never under 7 again until PG Anish Sharda's meaningless three at the buzzer. Starting C Justin Saad fouled out with 10:44 left.
Sharda led Moorpark with 15 pts and had 7 asts but committed 5 turnovers. SF Mike Atkinson grabbed a game-high 9 rebs. Reserve G Adam Segal scored 13 pts and reserve G/F Maike Hernandez scored 11. Townsend and SG Reny Maynard each had 9 pts. With the loss, Moorpark falls to 12-15.
