With the score tied at 14, Blassingame picked up his 3rd foul of the game. Moore made 2 of the 3 resulting free throws to make it 16-14 with 12:50 left in the 1st half, and Engelbrecht entered for LACC. The Cubs then proceeded to go on a 14-2 run to take a 28-16 lead. They still led by 10 at the half, and extended it to 15 at 48-33 and 16 at 65-49 before Santa rallied. The Dons cut the deficit to 4 at 68-64 with 2:43 left, but a Key dunk + FT restored the LACC lead to 7. Miranda was fouled and made 1-2 FTs to close it to 71-65 but a Blassingame dunk made it 73-65. 6 FTs in the final minute (Riley 3, Blassingame 2, Graham 1) finished out the scoring.
