The 2008 Hoop Review SoCal JUCO Showcase took place July 30th & 31st at Azusa Pacific College.
There were 35 teams in the event, and I was able to see 18 games, which featured a total of 31 teams. The four teams I didn't get to see, however, were featured in either the 3 Stripes event or the DVC Shootout, both earlier in July.
I've posted the usual array of material: a game-by-game summary, box scores and all-star selections.
Because of time constraints, I've just posted an excel spreadsheet with the box scores (for now - I'll put them into html when I get a chance in a week or so!).
Thanks to Gerry Freitas (Hoop Review) and Jeff Rutter (Azusa Pacific) for putting together a great event, and for getting me set up with rosters and all. This was an extremely well-run event - Great job!
