Saddleback started the game with a 6-0 spurt, and led all the way. It was 26-17 at halftime, and Saddleback started the second half with another 6-0 spurt to push the lead to 15 points and take command of the game.
Golston, who played at Cypress as a freshman in 2009-10, had 13 points on 5-for-5 from the floor and 2-for-2 from the line and added 6 rebounds, tying for game honors. SG Everett Osborne and PF Josh Smith each had 8 pts and 6 rebs. Ctr Carlton Hayes had 6 pts and backup Ctr Charles Lockett had 4 pts and 5 rebs.
