#15 Cerritos (8-3) outlasted Irvine Valley (3-3), 79-76. SF Brandon Fields had a big game with 25 pts and 6 rebs, and Ctr Tezzaray Banks added 18 pts and 5 boards. Together they made 18 of 23 FGs. PG Rayan Reyes had 7 pts and 6 asts. For Irvine Valley, SG Pete DeCasas and SF Travon Keahey each had 19 pts. SF Mike Peteson came off the bench and added 14 pts. PG Dustin Price had a game-high 10 asts. The game was back and forth until Fields scored 8 pts including a pair of FG+FT 3-point plays to give Cerritos a 69-59 lead with about 5 mins left. Though Irvine Valley closed the margin to 3 in the final seconds on a pair of threes by Keahey, they never really threatened to take the lead.
