On Saturday July 31st, a handful of top Junior College players representing schools from both California and the NJCAA converged on the SCBA Center in Cypress for the JUCO Extravaganza portion of the 2004 Fullcourt Press Summer Showcase. The host team, the Compton Magic, was featured as well as four other teams made up of players from various schools. By the time it was over, the team known as The Vandals had scored nearly 200 points in their two decisive victories. They and one of the two Compton Magic teams were the only teams to go 2-0 on the night.
