A good place to start is the website of the school in which you might be interested. Some of the sites are pretty basic, but most can give you an idea of the school and what coursework they offer. And some even have online catalogs and other detailed information.
So...I've put together listings of all California Community Colleges. On one list, I've also added some brief notes about each school. On the other, I've linked to each school's site and included a contact phone number.
What you might do is go through the list with my comments and see which schools might appeal to you.
I've also included some info about how to find a school and a team to play for. Again, it's pretty basic, but can provide a starting point.
You might also want to get a map of California. It's a big state, and extremely diverse. If you'd like to know more about the different parts of California, you can check out the page below for some very general information.
