West LA led 21-16 midway through the first half before Citrus went on an 11-0 run to lead by 8 at 29-21 with just under 3 mins left before the half. But West LA scored the final 11 pts of the first half and the first 4 pts of the second to take a 35-29 lead, and led the rest of the way. Citrus closed the gap to 3 at 67-64 with under 2 mins left before a Stevens runner and a putback by McMaryion put West LA back in control.
PG Chris Reaves led Citrus with 21 pts. SG Ralph Steele added 18 plus 5 rebs. SF Doug Little endured a nightmare shooting (0/9 FGs) but had an otherwise solid game with 7 rebs, 4 blocks, 2 steals and a game-high 6 asts.
