Cuyamaca began the second half with a 10-2 spurt to take the lead. East LA never quite caught up, but kept it close, trailing by just a point at 50-49 with under two minutes to go after a 3-pointer by PG Alex Mendiola.

Bradford answered with a 3-pointer of his own with 1:20 left to make it 53-49. He added a free throw with 55 seconds left to make it 54-49. East LA got a pair of free throws from Mendiola with 45 seconds left to make it 54-51, but then the Huskies were forced to foul. SG Brandon Fountain made 3 of 4 FTs and Bradford made two more, all in the final 35 seconds, to secure the win for the Coyotes.

Bradford led all scorers with his 17 pts, and he also had 4 asts. Braun had 3 threes among his 14 pts. PF Kendrick Alejandre had 8 pts and a game-high 7 rebs.
