Santa Barbara ran its record to 2-0 with an impressive win in the championship game of the Glendale Tip-Off Tournament Nov. 9th. Jonathan Pickert came off the bench to score 23 pts (incl. 4 threes) while SF Omar Cowan added 16 plus 7 rebs. SBCC finished the first half on an 8-0 run to take a 1-point lead at the break, and never trailed in the second half.
Glendale, which led most of the first half, was led by SG Irv Moses, who scored 15 pts (5 threes) in a reserve role. Ctr Durwin Williams had 13 pts plus a game-best 9 rebs. SG Justin Turman added 12 pts plus 5 asts, while PF Mark Felder had 12 pts.
