Here are my choices for the 2005-06 Top 100 JC players in California that I've seen play this year.
This is of course my subjective opinion, and while I'm a fan rather than a coach, mine may be the most informed opinion around since I doubt anyone else has seen as many teams play this year as I have.
Players are listed alphabetically. I'll come up with my all-state picks after the playoffs.
In addition to the Top 100, the Honorable Mention section is a list of very good players that I seriously considered for inclusion on the Top 100.
You might notice that there are actually 101 players on the list. That's because I compiled the 100 list before the state tournament. But I had to move Fullerton's Tim Denson from the Honorable Mention list to the Top 100 list after his impressive performance at the state tournament (he was named MVP).
There are also supplemental lists, first of players I saw playing for teams from outside California, and also for a few players who would have been Top 100 selections but for some reason were unable to play much of the season. I wanted to recognize them, but not take away a spot from someone else on the Top 100 list.
