Man of the Month.
This websites man of the month for Kilkenny City has been awarded to two players at opposite ends of the pitch. City's new keeper from Goresbridge David "Zenga" O Neill is the joint winner along with City's new striker Gavin Moore who has struck 3 times in his 1st 4 games.

Waterford Utd. 0-0 Kilkenny City
City battled hard in the 1st South East derby in a year and went home with a share of the spoils. Andy Brady almost snatched all 3 points for the Cats with a volley that re-bounded off the post in the 91st minute. But 0-0 was how it ended and City can be pleased with their start to the season with 5 points from 4 games.

City 1-2 Cobh Ramblers.
City can really feel quite hard done by after a very lucky Cobh team took all 3 points from the Buckley Park outfit. City were by far the better team all the way through. Cobh were awarded a lucky penalty which was finished by Golden + then before City even had a chance to recover Cobh struck another. But Mark Revins got City back into it with a great goal after a good cross by Gavin Moore. But Cobh hung on for dear life all through the 2nd half and went back to Cork with the points. But City can remain confident after a good performance.

City 3-2 Dublin City
Great start to the season in Buckley Park as the Cats take all 3 points in a rip-roaring match. And to make it all the more enjoyable the Cats got the winning goal in front of the fans who packed the brand new stand. Which is just about ready to be completed. The star of the show again was Gavin Moore who scored two goals to bring his tally to 3 in two. His partnership up front with Mark Revins seems to be developing excellently. City fans can now look forward to a promising season.
