The scene opens in the middle of the ring of a sold out Budokan. Thousands of fans from the
city of Tokyo and surrounding areas give their utmost attention to the three men standing in the ring with Miki
Fukazawa, CWI interviewer.
[MIKI]-"Hello Tokyo! And all the fans watching on television around the world!"
...the fans erupt in cheers and applause. However the three men cloaked in confederate attire in the ring appear
to be annoyed, and oblivious to the excited crowd. Miki's smiling face suddenly vanishes as she notices the serious
and menacing stare coming from the Dixie Rebel. She proceeds with the interview.
[MIKI]- "Dixie Rebel, can you explain to the fans what happened in Mr. Rickond's office a couple weeks ago?"
[REBEL]- "I don't have to explain a dang thing to any dang body!! The DP3 are sick and tired of being overlooked
around here! And if we have to bust down a few doors to get some attention, then we are dang sure gonna do it!"
[JB]- "That's right! What my brother says is true! The Assassin Bombs aint nothing but sacks of whale blubber
with masks to cover their fat grotesque faces! They can't hang with the DP3, baby! The south is gonna rise again!"
[DUSTER]- "Hold that microphone steady, lady! We aint joking around out here! The only joke I seen, was that
joke of an event called Star Night! The only stars that matter are the ones on the Rebel flag. And the DP3 is the
only six-man tag team that matters in professional wrestling!"
[REBEL]- "The Mat Maniacs are punks! We ran their butts out of Japan, and out of the CWI! And now they are
handed the World Six-man trophy without having to fight the greatest six-man team of all time! Cliff Rickond, you
are gonna regret your mistake for a long time to come!"
[JB]- "Bombs! You've got a fight comin'!"
[DUSTER]- "And it's comin' soon!!"
With those remarks the interview comes to an abrupt end as the DP3 stomps off and exits the ring. Miki Fukazawa
breaths a sigh of relief.
Spaniard Kid vs. Desert Dominator w/African
Warrior
Spaniard Kid had the Tokyo crowd on his side, but it wasn't enough to push him to victory. The Desert Dominator
was relentless in his attack, and he wore down the Kid with several ferocious stomps and kicks to the body. The
Dominator pounded Spaniard Kid like a heavy bag before finally bringing an end to the punishment with his finisher,
the 'Sandstorm'. Desert Dominator gets the win.
Shaolin Masters (Super Ninja, Samurai, & Shogun) vs.
Assassin Bombs (Boom, Bam, & Bang)
The Assassin Bombs were coming in favored to win the matchup with the Shaolin Masters. But oddsmakers didn't
count on the DP3 getting involved. For the first seven minutes, the match went on without a hitch. The Shaolin
Masters were very impressive against one of the largest six-man teams in professional wrestling. Super Ninja showed
why he is highly-respected in Japan. And the new look Samurai and Shogun were on top-form tonight. They held up
well against the larger monstrous team of the Bombs. However, the Bombs would gain control of the match, showing
why they are so highly ranked in the six-man division. But then, J.B. and Dixie Rebel of the DP3 appeared walking
down the ramp to the ring. This caught the attention of the referee, as well as Assassin Boom and Bam, who were on
the ring apron. This gave enough time for Duster to emerge from the crowd on the opposite side of the ring. He slid
into the ring and nailed Assassin Bang from behind with what appeared to be a billy-club. Bang lost consciousness
and Shogun was easily able to escape the front-face lock that Bang had him in. Super Ninja motioned to the puzzled
Shogun to cover Bang. Then Super Ninja yelled for the referee to turn and count the pinfall. The Shaolin Masters
get a huge win over the #2 contender Six-man team in the world. Following the match, the DP3 battled Assassins Boom
and Bam outside the ring. With the odds being two on three, the DP3 would come out on top. Leaving the Assassin
Bombs lying. Their message being clearly sent to the front office of the CWI.
The scene switches back in the dressing room where Dragon Lee is talking to Jin Kazama in a
deep Asian accent. Jin Kazama is listening intently, taking in every word Dragon Lee is saying, as if he were a
scholar.
[LEE]- "Listen, my friend. I have been watching your career long before I came to the CWI. I see much potential
in your fighting style. But I also seen the shortcomings you have had. This is what it is, okay. Empty your mind.
Be formless. Shapeless. Like water. Now you put water in a cup,...it becomes the cup. You put water in a bottle, it
becomes the bottle. You put water in a teapot, it becomes the teapot. Now water can flow,...or it can crash."
Jin Kazama's eyes widen as if a new door had just been unlocked for him in his mind. And Dragon Lee finishes
with one last sentence.
[LEE]- "Be water, my friend."
All-Japan Tag Team Title Match
Dragon Lee & Jin Kazama w/Ling Xiaoyu vs. Piston &
Edmond Honda w/Fuji Hakuji-champions
An exciting trio of title matches started off with the match between the Honda Brothers and a newly formed
alliance of Dragon Lee and Jin Kazama. The Honda Brothers had been pretty much invincible since arriving in the CWI
a year ago. But the team of Kazama and Lee was something to behold. Several high-flying electric precision moves
were executed by the contenders. Fuji Hakuji even appeared to be amazed. Edmond Honda tried to speed slap Dragon
Lee, but he wasn't speedy enough. Dragon Lee took the big man down with his Flying Dragon Kick and covered him for
the pinfall! Piston Honda quickly charged into the ring to stop the count, but he was met with a 'Lighting Screw
Godfist' from Jin Kazama. The referee slaps the mat for the 3-count. The Honda Brothers are dethroned!! Dragon Lee
and Jin Kazama become the new All-Japan Tag Team Champions!!
International Tag Team Title Match
Scorp & Jumbo Flapjack w/Fuji Hakuji vs. Bear Hugger &
Mad Clown-champions
Another tag team title match was up next. Scorp looked out of place when you looked around the ring at his
opponents, and even his partner, the very large Jumbo Flapjack. However Scorp's size is deceiving. He is very
powerful for his size. The matchup was just as exciting as the previous one for the All-Japan titles. However this
time, the champions would come out on top. Bear Hugger and Mad Clown retain their titles after Scorp is pinned by
the Mad Clown. Fuji Hakuji can't believe that Hakuji Inc has lost 2 title matches in a row. And actually 3 in a
row, if you count the loss by King Hippo to L.A. Destructor a couple weeks ago. Bear Hugger and Mad Clown remain
International Tag Team Champions.
MAIN EVENT
International Heavyweight Title Match
Nuclear Renegade vs.
David Von Ramrock w/Clover-champion
The main event would have a couple acts to follow. But with two of the top ten wrestlers in the world locking
up for the International Heavyweight title, there was much to be excited about. DVR had decided that Nuclear
Renegade deserved a shot at his title due to him being a former MPW World champion, as well as the fact that he got
robbed in his match against Phantom Konger for the Fiji Islands title a week earlier, thanks to the Calamity Crew.
Nuclear Renegade had seemed to even be a little taken aback by DVR's gesture of sportsmanship. But despite the
goodwill, it didn't stop both men from going at it tooth and nail. There were still some signs of bad blood between
DVR and the Renegade from their MPW days, which made the action even more intense. But television time limit
quickly drawed a close on the exciting match. And after over 15 minutes the match would end in a time limit draw.
Nuclear Renegade was noticeably disappointed that his title-shot was over. And he exited the ring to make his way
back to the locker room.
And just as Clover entered the ring to hand DVR the International belt, the music of the Super Ultimates(NWO
theme) hit the arena speakers of the Budokan. L.A. Destructor all decked out in black street-gear, had the All-
Japan Heavyweight title belt over his left shoulder. Macho Destroyer and Doom Knight flanked him on each side. DVR
stood in the ring staring out at them as Clover drawed closer to his side. L.A. Destructor raised a microphone to
his mouth with his right hand and began to speak.
[L.A.D.]- "Hey, little man. When are you gonna stop being a paper-champion and defend that belt against me? What
is with you Von Ramrock? DVR? What is all this hype about you? Where did it come from? And how stupid are all these
Japanese fans to fall for it hook, line, and sinker?"
The fans boo at his remarks, and DVR walks to the side of the ring and grabs a microphone from a ringside
attendant. Then he motions for Clover to exit the ring. She reluctantly finally decides to do as he says. Then DVR
walks to the edge of the ring facing the Super Ultimates and begins to speak.
[DVR]- "Well, hey. Butchy-boy. Yeah that's right. I know your real name."
L.A. Destructor snarls slightly and his eyes become more intense.
[DVR]- "Since you're feeling so froggy right now. Why don't you haul your seven-foot carcass down here to the
ring, and I'll kick your butt just like my cousin, LVR did at Star Night!"
The fans erupt in cheers...and this enrages L.A. Destructor. He slams the microphone down and hands his All-
Japan title to Doom Knight, then he begins stomping down to the ring. DVR mockingly offers to hold the ropes for
L.A. Destructor to step in. But L.A. Destructor climbs to the apron and motions for DVR to back away. DVR obliges,
and L.A. Destructor steps over the top rope one leg at a time.
DVR discards his microphone as well, and both men stand toe to toe in the middle of the ring. And without
warning both men begin exchanging punches. DVR staggers back after a absorbing the impact of the large man's
powerful fists, but suddenly his boxing instincts kick in and he ducks and weaves around to L.A. Destructor's side
and unloads a barrage of punches to the rib cage, and works his way up the body. DVR is taking it to the big man,
but DVR is cut down quick as Macho Destroyer and Doom Knight quickly slide into the ring and take his feet out from
underneath him. All 3 men begin stomping unmercifully on the International champion. The fans in the Budokan go
into a panic.
Clover screams as she sees the three giant men pummel DVR. And then suddenly Interceptor and Silencer 7 run down
the ramp and slide into the ring to save him. But with DVR down, the Headhunter Express is still outnumbered, and
so the Super Ultimates continue to wreak havoc in the ring as Interceptor is tossed over the top ropes to the
floor. Doom Knight and Macho Destroyer stomp away on Silencer 7 in the ring before he is tossed over the top rope
to the floor as well. Things appear to be bleek for DVR as Doom Knight and Macho Destroyer each grab an arm of DVR
as he is on his knees and his head dropped from beaten to near unconsciousness. L.A. Destructor begins to climb to
the top rope!! He appears as if he is going to execute his flying head-butt from the top on an already battered
DVR!
And suddenly a figure begins charging down the ramp with an aluminum baseball bat in his hands. NUCLEAR
RENEGADE charges the ring before L.A. Destructor can commit his heinous act of cruelty. The Super Ultimates exit
the ring as Nuclear Renegade swings the bat wildly and dares them to come back in. L.A. Destructor gives and evil
stare back at the Renegade who is standing above the fallen body of DVR. Clover enters the ring cautiously and
crawls over to check on DVR. The Super Ultimates backstep their way up the ramp with their gaze set on Nuclear
Renegade, who is staring just as intensely back at them. The show comes to a close.............
Turnbuckle Taboo returns to the airwaves all across Asia, Europe, Australia, as well as on affiliated networks in North America. Cliff Rickond is sitting behind a desk in his office as the camera zooms in. Rickond smiles into the camera, and the fans inside the Dojo Dome come alive as their cheers are heard all the way into Rickond's office. His face is being projected over the large jumbo screen in the arena.
The scene switches to pan the packed Dojo Dome.
RICKOND-"Good evening wrestling fans here in Osaka, Japan, and to the millions of fans watching on television around the world. The CWI is back, and this is Turnbuckle Taboo. The number one international wrestling program in the world. I would like to start off the show by announcing that the CWI will be involved with a conglomerate affiliation that includes the CWI, PWA, BAW, and the HWF. All four wrestling federations have agreed to send our top athletes to compete for three separate unified and true World status championships. Those include the World Six-Man, World Tag Team, and of course the World Heavyweight championships.
Representing the CWI in the World Six-Man tag title tournament will be the team of the Assassin Bombs. As for the World Tag Team title tournament, the two teams that will represent the CWI will be the International tag champs, Bear Hugger & Mad Clown, as well as the All-Japan tag champs, Piston & Edmund Honda.
Finally that brings me to the World Heavyweight title representatives. The first being of course, the International Heavyweight champion, David Von Ramrock. The other spot will be claimed by the winner of tonight's main event. Which happens to be an All-Japan Heavyweight Title Match between the current champion, L.A. Destructor, and the former champion, King Hippo. So sit back enjoy the show. Thank you.
Dragon Lee & Great Kowbunki vs. Scorp & Jumbo Flapjack w/Fuji Hakuji
Making his debut tonight was the very impressive Dragon Lee, who had ran roughshod in the PWA last year. He would be teaming up with the Great Kowbunki tonight against two tough opponents from Hakuji Inc. Lee and Kowbunki provided the fans with some great athletic martial arts team moves, but their inexperience as a team showed against Scorp and Flapjack.Things took a bad turn as Flapjack nearly squashed the Great Kowbunki with a running powerbomb. This would lead to the pinfall as Scorp and Flapjack get the win.
Asian TV Title Match
Jin Kazama w/Ling Xiaoyu vs. Tunnel Runner-champion
Next up, Tunnel Runner would be defending his Asian Television title against Jin Kazama. In the locker room of Tunnel Runner before the match, a new stable revealed itself. Joining Tunnel Runner in his pre-match warm-ups was his newly revealed stablemates.....Scarecrow, Phantom Konger, and Jacob Marlowe.Scarecrow took on the role of mouthpiece for the group. He declared their stable to be called The Calamity Crew. And a name was never more fitting. Tunnel Runner has been undefeated since his arrival in the CWI, and tonight he would remain so against up and comer Jin Kazama, who has yet to pull off a signature win in the CWI. Tonight would not be his night. Tunnel Runner proved to be too vicious in the end, and although Kazama put on a brilliant show, with several suplex pin variations which led to near pinfalls, he came up short. Tunnel Runner gets his first title defense of his Asian TV title.
Okinawa Tag Team Title Match
Scarecrow & Jacob Marlowe vs. Beach Dog & Desert Dog-champions
Following the victorious title defense by their fellow stablemate, Scarecrow and Jacob Marlowe entered the ring to try and claim some more championships for their group. Beach Dog and Desert Dog once again delighted the Japanese fans by hugging and slapping hands with the fans. Beach Dog gave a pair of sunglasses to a small child at ringside, while on the other side of the ring Desert Dog awarded a lucky female fan his poncho, and to a small boy he gave his hat. Scarecrow and Marlowe glared at the scene with utter contempt. Then they spoke to each other very methodically on what appeared to be strategy talk. Whatever it was, it seemed to work. Marlowe and Scarecrow pummeled the champions from pillar to post. The fans kept getting behind the Sand Hounds, but everytime they would mount a serious comeback, it was quickly halted by Marlowe and Scarecrow. And by the end of the match, Desert Dog was cut wide open above his left eyebrow, and bleeding profusely. Marlowe and Scarecrow proceeded to tag in and out, and go right after the cut. Beach Dog threw in the towel as he feared for the well-being of his partner. The referee awarded the victory and the titles to Scarecrow and Jacob Marlowe.
The action cuts backstage where the camera is focused towards the floor at two big cowboy-style wrestling boots. As the camera slowly pans up, the western jeans and red cowhide vest seem to continue the same style, and when the camera reaches the top, the smiling face of the Blazing......Lotus???.....is revealed.
The Thundering Mantis enters the widening camera frame, and sizes up his partner's new ring attire.
[MANTIS]-"You sure about this new gimmick of yours, Lotus?"
[LOTUS]-"Of course I am, Pak-man."
[MANTIS]-"C'mon, Lotus. I told you to never call me 'Pak-man". It sounds stupid. And besides nobody calls me by my real name in the wrestling business. I'm the Thundering Mantis. You and me are the greatest pro wrestlers and greatest tag team of all time of all of North and South Korea. So what is up with this 'cattle rustler' look of yours? Have you been watching syndicated re-runs of Bonanza again? Or was there another John Wayne marathon on TBS?"
[LOTUS]-"Hahaha. Don't be silly, Mantis. The John Wayne marathon is tomorrow night after PWA Super Bouts. My clothes shows my true personality. From now on, I shall be known as the BLAZING SADDLE!!."
[MANTIS]-"Saddle? What? But you are a Tae Kwon Do master/pro wrestler.....just like me."
[LOTUS]-"Very true. But I am also the Korean Cowboy!! Yeeeeeehaaaaaaaaw!"
Blazing Lotus.....er, Saddle dances around the room riding an imaginary horse and doing his best 'air-lasso' impression. Thundering Mantis scratches his head.....then shrugs his shoulders, and the scene switches back inside the arena.
Fiji Islands Heavyweight Title Match
Nuclear Renegade vs. Phantom Konger-champion
Phantom Konger would look to continue his "death grip" on the Fiji Islands Heavyweight title and contribute the third consecutive win for his new stable, The Calamity Crew. He would be facing his toughest title defense yet, however, against a former MPW World Heavyweight Chamion, Nuclear Renegade. Phantom Konger had not had this much trouble with an opponent since his loss against the Inernational champ, DVR, in 2009. Nuclear Renegade was able to match power with Konger, and recover quickly from some of the Phantom's best power moves. It looked as if Konger's long reign of the Fiji Islands title might come to an end. But Konger's new stablemates proved to come in handy when it counted. Scarecrow would intervene at the end of the match, which helped shore up a cheap title defense win for Phantom Konger, and ensured that all four members of the newly proclaimed Calamity Crew would be holding a championship title.
MAIN EVENT
All Japan Heavyweight Title Match
King Hippo w/Fuji Hakuji vs. L.A. Destructor-champion
The rematch for the All-Japan heavyweight title was about to begin. The winner to claim the All-Japan title, and an automatic bid at Star Night-Enter The Dragon pay-per-view for the unified World Heavyweight Championship! It was nothing short of spectacular. Two giant behemoths knocking each other around the ring as Kirk Chaser and Toshibi Kagiro called the power-shivering action!
Both men were busted open as the match came to a close. Suprisingly, there was no interference from either Hakuji Inc, nor the Super Ultimates. And the match came to an exciting conclusion at the 15:47 mark. A suprisingly long match for two very large men with several power moves. L.A. Destructor's power and cardio proved to be superior as he gets the pinfall victory following a ferocious skull-shattering flying headbutt from the top ropes which knocked King Hippo out on his feet, and sent his 400-plus frame crashing to the mat. L.A. Destructor retains the All-Japan Heavyweight title, and earns a spot in the unified World Heavyweight title tourney at Star Night.
The scene switches backstage as Cliff Rickond has finished watching the ending of the main event on a closed circuit monitor in his office. He is startled by his office door being slammed open. He turns to see an angry trio step inside his office. Dixie Rebel stands in the front with JB and Duster flanking him on either side. They all appear to be very...very...angry. The scene fades to black as the show ends........................
