The scene opens as L.A. Destructor is seen walking through the backstage area of
the Telefonica Arena. Several backstage workers quickly and nervously step aside to give the lumbering
massive giant of a man all the space he wants. From the other direction down the hall another figure
immerges from a doorway. It is the International Heavyweight champion, David Von Ramrock. As the two
men finally meet at the center of the hall, they both stop and silently stare at each other. Finally
DVR ends the silence and extends a hand. "Welcome to the CWI, big man. And good luck in your title
match with King Hippo tonight."
L.A. Destructor doesn't accept the offer of a handshake. He simply sneers and looks at the title
belt on DVR's shoulder, then turns his gaze back to DVR's face. And in a cold deep voice he
replies,..."Tonight I'm taking the All-Japan title belt from that bloated Hippo. And the International
title will be next on my list. So live it up while you can, little man. Your days as top dog around
here are numbered."
With that said, L.A. Destructor turns and walks past DVR. Ramrock watches him walk away. Then DVR
adjusts the title belt on his shoulder and nods his head, then continues walking in the other
direction. Then the show begins........
Crush Brothers vs. Tornado Waster &
Cyclone Killer
The Crush Brothers finally got back on the winning track tonight by defeating Tornado Waster and
Cyclone Killer. They take a step forward into trying to get back into title contention in a vastly
growing competitive tag team division in the CWI. Former All-Japan tag champions, Billy and Bo Crush
prove that they are still relevant in the tag team division.
1st Round - Asian Television Title Tournament Match
Karate Fighter vs. Jumbo Warrior
Karate Fighter coming fresh off a big win at Imperial Mayhem in the Martial Arts Mayhem match,
would be facing quite possibly the biggest challenge of his career when he took on former MPW World
Champion, Jumbo Warrior. Karate Fighter's Mat Maniac buddies made sure to give him all the back-up he
needed to get the upset victory, and advance to the semi-finals of the Asian TV title tourney. A very
livid Jumbo Warrior was very angry following the loss. He appeared to snap. He grabbed a microphone
and vowed revenge on the entire Mat Maniac stable. Although most of what he said was incoherent and
seemably far-fetched.
1st Round - Asian Television Title Tournament Match
Mr Fashion vs. Tunnel Runner
On a night full of newcomers to the CWI, two more newly-signed superstars would face off in
another first round match for the Asian TV title. Mr Fashion delivered several knife-edge chops to the
massive chest of the monster, Tunnel Runner. They seemed to have no effect for the most part. Tunnel
Runner overpowered Mr Fashion and gets an impressive victory to advance in the tourney.
Punisher & Wild Dog vs. Bear Hugger & Mad
Clown
Punisher & Wild Dog were making their debut in the CWI against one of the largest tag teams in pro
wrestling, Bear Hugger and Mad Clown. Things got out of hand right off the bat. The referee lost
control of the match and headed to the floor. Things continued to escalate as the fight poured over
into the crowd. The referee took it upon himself to try and get the wrestlers to get back into the
ring instead of simply counting them out. While the ref was tending to Wild Dog and Bear Hugger, Mad
Clown had picked up a steel chair and tried to slam it on the head of the Punisher. However, Punisher
caught the chair with his hands and yanked it away from Mad Clown. Punisher was so angry that he used
the chair himself, slamming it across the chest of Mad Clown just as the referee had wheeled around to
catch him in his retaliative act. The referee disqualified Punisher and Wild Dog, and gives the
victory to Bear Hugger and Mad Clown.
1st Round - Asian Television Title Tournament Match
Jin Kazama w/Ling Xiaoyu vs. Coco Savage
Once again the Mat Maniac posse would come into play to corrupt the integrity of the Asian TV
title tournament. This time, Pirahna and Golden Hulk would stir up things outside the ring causing Jin
Kazama to lose focus while being concerned for the safety of Ling Xiaoyu. Coco Savage seizes the
opportunity to catch Kazama off guard. Kazama was unable to overcome the onslaught of shoulder-blocks
and constant hinderances from Pirahna and Golden Hulk. Another Mat Maniac member advances to the
semi-finals of the Asian TV title tournament. His name.....Coco Savage.
1st Round - Asian Television Title Tournament Match
Nuclear Renegade vs. Jumbo Flapjack
The fans were witness to a three minute rant on the microphone by another former MPW World
Heavyweight Champion, Nuclear Renegade, in which he verbally blasted Clif Rickond and CWI management
for "unlawfully" suspending his good friend, Killer Fangs. Perhaps the Renegade should have been
paying more attention to the very large man he would be wrestling tonight. Fuji Hakuji unveiled his
newest acquisition, Jumbo Flapjack to the packed arena. The match was very thrilling as Nuclear
Renegade showed the CWI just what a former world champion could do in the ring, but apparently his
arrogant attitude led to his demise. Flapjack is not just another very big opponent, he is suprisingly
agile and powerful as well. Hakuji Inc just keeps getting stronger, and Jumbo Flapjack stuns a former
world champion to advance to the semi-finals.
MAIN EVENT
All-Japan Heavyweight Title Match
L.A. Destructor vs. King Hippo w/Fuji Hakuji-champion
King Hippo is a very very large man, and the most ominous member of Hakuji Inc. With the recent
influx of talent from the defunct MPW men's division, King Hippo would be facing a challenger of the
likes that had yet to see so far in the CWI. The powerhouse giant of a man named L.A. Destructor
stomped into the Telefónica Arena to a hellacious chorus of cheers from the awestruck fans. An epic
battle was to follow. Fuji Hakuji had never seen anyone push his big Hippo around the ring like the
Destructor was doing. Destructor would take the pummelling attack from King Hippo, then shove the
Hippo back into the ropes and deliver his own devastating barrage of giant forearms and fists. Fuji
Hakuji was in "frantic-mode" as he couldn't believe how his champ was being challenged.
Hakuji apparenty sent some sort of visual signal for some of the other members of Hakuji Inc to
come to the ring. Jumbo Flapjack and Cuban Giant started making their way to the ring. Both men
stalked around the outside area of the ring. The referee decided to keep an eye on both of them to
make sure they didnt interfere. Suddenly, two very large men in street clothes stepped over the
ringside railing from the crowd! It was none other than the other two members of the Super
Ultimates...........Macho Destroyer and Doom Knight. They proceeded to attack cuban Giant and Jumbo
Flapjack.
Back inside the ring, L.A. Destructor ended the royal reign of one King Hippo following his
finisher, Total Destruction, a running power bomb. The impact of the move nearly brought the
ring down in a thunderous quake! L.A. Destructor gets the win and becomes the new All-Japan
heavyweight champion!!
A graphic appears on the screen at the end of the show announcing the main event for next week's Turnbuckle Taboo. Kirk Chaser gives the details, as King Hippo will be challenging DVR for the International Heavyweight title!
Before the pay-per-view began, the scene opened in the office of CWI president, Cliff Rickond. A shiny silver wrestling belt was lying on the desk in front of Mr Rickond. Cliff Rickond welcomed the television and arena audience to the Imperial Mayhem pay-per-view and promised them an action-packed evening. Then Cliff Rickond made the announcement of a new singles title to be added to the league. The Asian Television title will be crowned at the end of an 8-man tournament to be held over the next three weeks on Turnbuckle Taboo. The bracket would be announced in the next couple days on the CWI website, and with the entire first round of the tournament, 4 matches, to be held this Friday. The camera zoomed in on the title belt, and then the scene switched to packed crowd in the Kitakyushu Media Dome.
Okinawa Tag Team Title Match
Beach Dog & Desert Dog vs. Lion & Tiger-champions
Alot of heat had been stirred up between these two teams, as Lion and
Tiger had showed alot of resentment towards the baby-face duo of Beach Dog
and Desert Dog. Beach Dog and Desert Dog received high-fives, hugs &
kisses, and pats on the back from the fans surrounding the ring as they
made their entrance. Beach Dog had a sack full of green & orange beach
towels all rolled up. He handed them to fans of all ages, and tossed a few
up to the fans seated farther away from the ring. Desert Dog gave his
western hat and poncho to a couple excited kids in the front row. Lion and
Tiger rolled their eyes in disgust as they paced back and forth inside the
ring waiting for the display of adoration to end.
When the action finally started, Lion quickly attacked Beach Dog, and
for several minutes he tagged in and out with Tiger as they seemed to be
pounding away on Beach Dog. After failed attempts at almost tagging his
partner, Desert Dog appeared to be exhausted. But he finally was able to
make a desperate drop and roll and get the tag. A fresh and anxious Desert
Dog jumped into the ring and unloaded fists on both Lion and Tiger. Beach
Dog got back to his feet and dropkicked Lion out of the ring. Then the
Dogs executed the "Wipeout" on Tiger, and Desert Dog covered him
for the pin.....1...2...3!! We have NEW Okinawa Tag Team Champions, Beach
Dog and Desert Dog! The ovation from the adoring fans was deafening!
Russian Chain Match
Headhunter Express vs. Crusher &
Cruncher
The Russians had attacked Silencer 7 and Interceptor with chains
during their match with the Mad Soldiers last week. The Russians had been
promising an attack since over a month ago when the Russians and the
Headhunters had fought to a double count-out in a tag match. It was a
brutal contest. The Headhunter Express went on to pile up some impressive
wins, and were well on their way to defeating the Mad Soldiers last week.
They still won by DQ, but the attack by the Russians set up this Russian
chain match, otherwise they might have been fighting for the International
Tag Team titles tonight. Crusher and Cruncher were as boastrous as ever
tonite, marching out to the Soviet National Anthem. But they seemed to
have bit off more than they can chew picking a feud with the Silencer 7
and Interceptor. The Headhunter Express dominated the match from start to
finish, and ended things quickly and painfully. The Headhunter Express
will surely be in line for a tag title match following this impressive
performance.
Stable Grudge Match
Mat Maniacs (Pirahna, Insane Warrior & Coco Savage)
vs.
Hakuji Inc (Scorp, Ninja Gaiden, & Cuban Giant) w/Fuji Hakuji
The war between the Mat Maniacs and Hakuji Inc wrote another chapter
tonite. The crowd was mixed on who they would cheer for, as both groups
usually get booed out of the building. Coco Savage was usually the man
designated to fight for his team whenver Cuban Giant was in for Hakuji's
group. He had success by delivering several shoulder blocks knocking the
Giant off his feet. Pirahna and Insane Warrior both got in their hits as
well. Scorp and Ninja Gaiden were able to execute several devastating
kicks and punches to swing the match in favor of Hakuji Inc. Near the end
of the match, Fuji Hakuji threw some white powder into the eyes of Insane
Warrior that blinded him momentarily. Scorp was able to finish him off
with the "Death Spiral", and the pinfall.
Following the match, Scorp and Ninja Gaiden attacked Pirahna and
tossed him over the top rope to the floor. Cuban Giant did the same to
Coco Savage. Then all three Hakuji Inc members turned their attack on
Insane Warrior, who was still a bit groggy and not seeing very well with
the powder in his eyes. Cuban Giant picked Insane Warrior up and wrapped
both his large hands around the Warrior's throat, lifting him high in the
air in a vicious choke hold. Insane Warrior was in some serious trouble.
Coco Savage and Pirahna kept trying to climb into the ring to help him,
but Scorp and Ninja Gaiden kept kicking and knocking them off the ring
apron.
THEN SUDDENLY...........a large figure appeared at the top of the
entrance ramp. The fans roared in excitement, as they knew exactly who
this large man was! "GOLDEN HULK IS HERE!!!!!!!!!" - screamed Kirk
Chaser! Golden Hulk was pointing towards the ring and gritting his teeth
as he walked toward the ring. The sight was electrifying! Karate Fighter
appeared at the ramp and began jogging to the ring as well.
Fuji Hakuji didn't like what he was seeing, so he called for his men
to exit the ring. Only Scorp and Ninja Gaiden did so, as they joined
Hakuji on the floor. Cuban Giant didn't hear or didn't pay any attention
as his back was turned, still choking Insane Warrior. When Golden Hulk
arrived at the ring, he slapped the mat with his large fists, and climbed
onto the ring apron, and climbed into the ring. The fans were roaring in
cheers. Golden Hulk walked over and smacked Cuban Giant hard on the back.
Giant released Insane Warrior and he fell to the mat, gasping for air.
Cuban Giant slowly turned to see who had smacked him. And Golden Hulk got
right up in his face. Cuban Giant's eyes bugged out of his head. Then he
roared and took a swing at the Hulk. But Golden Hulk blocked the punch,
and swung a big fist of his own that knocked Cuban Giant back against the
ropes. Golden Hulk ran forward and clotheslined the Cuban Giant over the
top rope, sending him crashing hard to the floor.
Scorp, Ninja Gaiden, and Fuji Hakuji helped the Cuban Giant up and
they retreated as the entire Mat Maniac group assembled in the center of
the ring to aid the Insane Warrior. Then all five men stood in the ring,
amidst a large ovation of cheers from the packed arena!
MAYHEM Martial Arts Weapons Match
Karate Fighter vs. Jin Kazama w/Ling
Xiaoyu vs.
Nunchuk vs. Thundering
Mantis
The next match was quite unique. It was sort of an "extreme rules"
match, considering the various assortment of martial arts weapons laying
around the inside and outside of the ring. Kendo sticks, foam padded
nunchuks, tonfas, escrima sticks, and bo staffs were placed in different
locations. Hanging above the ring from a cable, was a red flag with a
golden dragon emblem on it. It could only be reached by a ladder. Two
ladders were lying outside the ring. The match had four competitors. The
objective was to capture the flag to win the match. Simple enough.....but
yet very dangerous considering the weapons, and being able to ascend a
ladder without getting knocked down by one of the other competitors.
The fans were treated to a very daring and exciting match. All four
men were expers with certain weapons. Nunchuk obviously went right after a
pair of nunchuks and he immediately went after Karate Fighter, who was
able to fend off the attack with a bo staff. Thundering Mantis was
battling with escrima sticks as he fought Jin Kazama, who was trying his
luck with a kendo stick. Several of the early attempts to set up one of
the ladders in the ring by each man was foiled by one or more of his
opponents. The action went in and out of the ring at a frantic pace. Ling
Xiaoyu cheered Jin Kazama on from a safe distance outside the ring.
This match was great, and very fittingly named after the pay-per-view
title, MAYHEM. In the end however, as Mantis and Nunchuk were battling
outside the ring, both Karate Fighter and Jin Kazama were racing as both
men were climbing one ladder in the middle of the ring. One on each side.
As they reached the top of the ladder, they both threw punches, but each
man was able to block or parry the attack. The ladder was beginning to
bend from the weight. Nunchuk quickly slid into the ring, and ran to knock
the ladder over. Kazama and Karate Fighter knew they were going to fall,
so Kazama prepared himself to land on his feet.....but Karate Fighter
decided to make a spirited last ditch effort, and he leaped from the rung
of the ladder as it began to tip over.
Karate Fighter jumped just high enough that he was able to snag the
bottom of the dragon flag with his right hand, and yank it free, as he
began to fall down back to the mat.
Jin Kazama landed perfectly on his feet follwing an impressive
back-flip from the falling ladder. Nunchuk, Kazama, and now Thundering
Mantis who had just climbed into the ring....watched as Karate Fighter
landed on his feet as well, with the dragon flag in his arms. The bell
sounded and Karate Fighter raised his arms in victory. All four opponents
bowed to each other, suprisingly even Karate Fighter. The fans cheered in
appreciation of an exciting match.
All-Japan Tag Team Title Match
Warlords (Tall Titan & Falcon) vs. Piston & Edmond
Honda w/Fuji Hakuji-champions
It was a rematch from a week ago, but this time the All-Japan tag
titles were on the line. Last week's match was disrupted by Bear Hugger
and Mad Clown, in what was shaping out to be a great matchup. Tonight was
no different. The Warlords came to fight, but so did the Honda brothers.
It was somewhat of a contrast in fighting styles. From the street-brawling
style of the Warlords to the sumo fighting style of Edmond Honda, and the
technical punching style of Piston Honda. Alot of high-impact moves went
down and the Warlords thought they were on the verge of taking the belts.
However the Honda brothers showed why they are a team to be reckoned with.
With a little help from their manager, Fuji Hakuji, the Hondas were able
to use some double-team action to put Tall Titan down for the count. The
Honda Brothers successfully defend the All-Japan tag team titles.
All-Japan Heavyweight Title Match
Super Ninja vs. King Hippo w/Fuji
Hakuji-champion
Super Ninja was able to maninpulate his way into a title shot thanks
to his actions last week on Turnbuckle Taboo. However, he struggled
against the much larger opponent, King Hippo. Hippo was too big and too
strong as he deflected and repelled several of Super Ninja's best kicks
and punches. Super Ninja became frustrated and lost focus, which led to
his demise. King Hippo chomped his jaws and went on the attack and landed
several big punches on Super Ninja, nearly knocking him out. Hippo
finished him off with the "Hungry Hippo Splash". And Fuji Hakuji's
group pulls off the clean sweep as they win all of their matches at
Imperial Mayhem.
International Tag Team Title Match
Mad Soldiers vs. Jaguar & Cougar
w/Pantha-champions
The Mad Soldiers were getting their rematch for the International tag
team titles. Jaguar and Cougar were hoping to remain undefeated and stay
atop the pyramid of the highly-competitive pool of tag team action in the
CWI. Jaguar and Cougar looked sharp early on, reaffirming why they are the
champs. Iron Soldier and Muscle Soldier were able to connect on a few
lariat clotheslines and neckbreakers, but Jaguar and Cougar's precise
technical skill was really tight tonight. They just seem to have the
intangibles needed to be the best. And they proved it tonight, as they
defeat the Mad Soldiers once again, and remain the BEST tag team in the
CWI. But one would have to wonder how they would manage when they begin to
face some of the larger tag teams in the CWI, such as the Honda Brothers,
the Warlords, and Bear Hugger and Mad Clown. The Headhunter Express have
also fought their way into contention. We will find out soon enough just
how good Jaguar and Cougar really are!
Miki Fukazawa was in the locker room with DVR and
Clover. She asked DVR how he felt about the suspension of Killer Fangs.
DVR said he wished Fangs had been allowed to be in the match so he could
break both his legs to avenge his friend, Dynamo Man. But he also said
that he was not overlooking Phantom Konger, and was a hundred percent
ready for the challenge.
Chet Rayner was in the locker room of the Fiji Islands champion,
Phantom Konger. Konger told Rayner that DVR would not be ready mentally or
physically for tonight's match. Konger boasted that he had been Fiji
Islands champion for so long, and he had done it all by himself without
any allies. He promised a victory over DVR, and that DVR's bleach-blonde
bimbo would be crying by the time the ring medics got done scraping what
was left of DVR off the canvas!
MAIN EVENT
International Heavyweight Title Match
Phantom Konger vs. David Von Ramrock
w/Clover-champion
The dynamics of the main event took a drastic change of direction
following the suspension of Killer Fangs last week on Turnbuckle Taboo.
Which moved the focus of the match onto the challenger, Phantom Konger.
Konger has been the Fiji Islands champion since the CWI began operations,
and he was facing the man who had been the International champion and
flagship of the CWI also from the beginning, David Von Ramrock. This match
proved to be exciting despite the missing scenario of revenge that DVR was
hoping to get against Killer Fangs. However, this match did not disappoint
the fans. Both wrestlers were on their game tonight, and the match itself
lasted for 17 minutes. In the end, it was David Von Ramrock blasting
Phantom Konger with a flying headbutt to his sternum, then following it up
with the "Ramrock Shock". DVR defeats Phantom Konger and retains
the International Heavyweight title.
Following the main event, Fuji Hakuji appeared at
the top of the ramp with his entire Hakuji Inc group. Hakuji told DVR that
he had been a mediocre champion so far in the CWI. The fans booed at
Hakuji's remarks, while DVR and Clover stood in the ring and chuckling in
amusement.
Hakuji said that his army was growing stronger, and his newest member
would be unveiled next Friday on Turnbuckle Taboo. Hakuji also warned DVR
that his days as International champion were numbered because he would no
longer be able to avoid the challenges of King Hippo, the All-Japan
heavyweight champion and #1 contender.
Hakuji Inc left without further incident, and DVR and Clover raised their
hands to the cheering fans, and as they exited the ring and walked back up
the ramp they stopped and high-fived and hugged several of the fans along
the railing. Then the show came to an end.
The scene opens in the office of CWI president,
Cliff Rickond. He is having somewhat of a heated debate with someone on
the telephone.....
Cliff Rickond: But I already booked the match for
Imperial Mayhem. It's the main event for heaven's sake. ..........Okay,
okay. You're the owner of the company, and I'm only the president. I
understand. But I'm telling you, he's not gonna like it. And he will be
out for revenge. Possibly break someone elses' leg. ..........Well, I know
DVR isn't going to like it either. He wants to avenge his friend.
.......Yes, I know. We do need to set an example that such actions will
not be tolerated. ....Yes, sir. I'll make the announcement tonight during
the show.
Rickond hangs up the phone, and leans back in his leather chair and
spins ninety degrees. He clinches his hands together and places them under
his chin.
Cliff Rickond: I better step up security tonight. Killer
Fangs is really going to be fuming after he hears what I've got to say.
The scene switches to the arena as fireworks erupt and spotlights flash
all around the arena, as Turnbuckle Taboo hits the airwaves in a sold out
World Cup Stadium.
Beach Dog vs.
Tiger
Before the first match began, the broadcasting duo of Kirk Chaser and
Toshibi Kagiro talked about the stipulations. The feud between the Sand
Hounds and Lion & Tiger had been building over the past few weeks. And
tonight, Beach Dog would be fighting for a chance to get his team a title
shot for the Okinawa tag team titles at Imperial Mayhem. As "Surfin USA"
hit the arena speakers, Beach Dog ran out to the ring in his colorful
beach attire carrying an shiny orange pearl surfboard. Before entering the
ring, Beach Dog pulled out a sharpie and began to autograph it. Just as he
handed to the board to an ecstatic teenage girl in the crowd, he was
attacked from behind by Tiger. The match began outside the ring, and
eventually moved into the ring as Tiger threw Beach Dog inside. Tiger
took advantage of his sneak attack for a couple minutes, however the fans
cheers swung the momentum over to Beach Dog as he fought back. Beach Dog
delivered several standing drop kicks as well as a missile drop kick from
the top turnbuckle. Tiger would retake control of the match thanks to a
poke in the eye, but nothing was going to stop Beach Dog tonight. Tiger
would try for a backdrop, but it turned into a sunset flip for the rollup
and the pin....1...2....3! Beach Dog defeats Tiger, and earns a title
match for he and Desert Dog at Imperial Mayhem.
Insane Warrior & Coco Savage vs. Scorp & King Hippo w/Fuji Hakuji
Another key matchup that would determine if a title match would be
awarded for the Imperial Mayhem pay per view. Insane Warrior challenged
King Hippo for a rematch for the All-Japan Heavyweight title. Fuji Hakuji
told Insane Warrior that if he and one of his Mat Maniac stablemates could
defeat Scorp and King Hippo in a tag match, then he would get his rematch
for the belt he lost to King Hippo. And after a wild match between the two
feuding stables, some outside interference from yet another former
All-Japan champion would come into play. Super Ninja's interference unseen
by the referee would cost the match for the Mat Maniacs. Insane Warrior
will not be getting a rematch. However, following the match Super Ninja
grabbed a microphone and declared that if anyone deserved a rematch it was
him. Super Ninja pointed out the fact that he was the very first All-Japan
champion, and he never got a rematch after he lost the belt to Insane
Warrior. Super Ninja had a key win over Jin Kazama a few weeks earlier.
Fuji Hakuji accepted the challenge on behalf of King Hippo. Honor among
villains perhaps. Super Ninja will face King Hippo at Imperial Mayhem!
Ninja Gaiden w/Fuji Hakuji vs. Gorf
Ninja Gaiden was accompanied to the ring by his new manager, Fuji
Hakuji. He still received alot of cheers from the fans even though he was
in bad company now. But he was facing the wild man known as Gorf. Gorf is
the right-hand man of the most hated man in the CWI, Killer Fangs. So
Ninja Gaiden had the entire crowd behind him. Things looked good early on
for Gaiden, as he displayed his quick hitting martial-art style. However,
he lost focus and allowed Gorf to get in too close. Gorf grabbed hold of
Gaiden and lifted him high off the mat in a double-handed choke. Gorf
slammed Gaiden on the mat and then slapped on a painful abdominal stretch.
Ninja Gaiden would not submit, but he was not strong enough to break free.
Fuji Hakuji decided to call out the troops to aid their newest protege'.
Scorp and Piston Honda ran into the ring and attacked Gorf, breaking Ninja
Gaiden free of the hold, but also getting him disqualified. Giving the win
to Gorf. But Gorf pays the price by getting beat down by three members of
Hakuji Inc. The fans didn't seem to mind. The camera switced to the locker
room in the back where Killer Fangs was seen watching the attack on Gorf
on a monitor. Fangs shook his head in disgust. The Mad Soldiers quickly
entered the locker room of Killer Fangs and questioned him about running
out to help Gorf. Killer Fangs only replied, "I am not a baby-sitter. Gorf
needs to learn the lesson of life. You can't depend on anyone but
yourself." Then, Killer Fangs turns his head toward the Mad Soldiers who
are standing there with puzzled looks, then adds...."If you two had
realized this yourself, then maybe you would still be International tag
team champions". Killer Fangs walks away and the Mad Soldiers look at
each other, then back up at the monitor. Hakuji Inc was finally done with
their attack on Gorf, as they leave him lying in the ring.
In the locker room Miki Fukazawa interviewed Bear Hugger and Mad Clown. They were very angry about their loss to the Warlords last week. They promised that Tornado Waster and Cyclone Killer would feel the wrath of their anger!
Tornado Waster & Cyclone Killer vs. Bear Hugger & Mad Clown
Just as they promised in the pre-match interview, Bear Hugger and Mad
Clown pummeled their smaller opponents. Waster and Killer tried everything
they could, double dropkicks, double elbow smashes, but they couldn't
knock either of the large men off their feet. And after only 4 minutes of
action, Bear Hugger slapped on his monstrous bear hug and Tornado Waster
had to submit to the pain. Bear Hugger looked into the camera and sent a
message to the Warlords, that they would be seeing them again real soon.
Jin Kazama and Killer Fangs had both made their ring entrances and the match was just about to start, but all of a sudden the CWI theme music "Hang On" came on and CWI President, Cliff Rickond appeared on the giant Combat-Tron screen. He addressed the fans in the arena and the television audience, and in particular...the man in the ring...Killer Fangs. He told Fangs that immediately following his match with Jin Kazama, that he would be indefinitely suspended from all CWI events until further notice. And that he is no longer part of the Imperial Mayhem main event for the International Heavyweight title.
Jin Kazama w/Ling Xiaoyu vs. Killer Fangs
Killer Fangs was livid following the announcement, and as he stomped
around the ring in a rage the fans cheered. The bell sounded and Fangs
immediately charged towards Jin Kazama. Kazama was ready and immediately
side-stepped his assailant and delivered a smashing roundhouse kick to the
stomach of Fangs. The fans cheered as Kazama followed up with several
spinning kicks and leg sweeps sending Fangs on his back. As the match
progressed, Fangs took control by hook or crook. He threw Kazama out of
the ring and followed him outside. He slammed Kazama into the ring steps,
and then lifted him in the air and dropped him throat-first on the
ringside railing. As the match went back into the ring, Kazama rallied and
whipped Fangs into the ropes, and executed one of the most
jaw-droppingnest moves of the year. A jumping spinning back kick that
connected with the jaw of Killer Fangs. Fangs crashed hard to the mat.
Then Kazama climbed to the top turnbuckle and leaped high into the air
with cameras flashing throughout the arena. Kazama did a 450 splash ending
with a tatical leg drop across the sternum of Killer Fangs. Kazama covered
Fangs for the pin.....1...2....3!! Jin Kazama gets the big win he has
been looking for, and Killer Fangs's night just went from bad to worse.
Headhunter Express vs. Mad Soldiers
The Headhunter Express were taking on the former International tag
team champions, the Mad Soldiers. There is no questioning the bad blood
between these two teams, going back several weeks ago when the Mad
Soldiers tried to abduct Clover during a match between DVR and Killer
Fangs. Tonight, the Express was showing why they are one of the best tag
teams in the CWI. They were taking it to the former tag champs, however
the match was abruptly ended by some outside interference as the Russians,
Crusher and Cruncher charged into the ring with their steel chains and
began attacking Silencer 7 and Interceptor. The referee called for the
bell and awarded the match to the Headhunter Express.
When the smoke had cleared, Cliff Rickond once again appeared on the Combat-Tron screen, and announced two more matches for the Imperial Mayhem pay-per-view. The Headhunter Express will face Crusher and Cruncher in a Russian Chain tag team match. Also, the Mad Soldiers will get a rematch for the International tag team titles against the team that beat them, Jaguar and Cougar.
Non-Title Match
Warlords (Falcon & Tall Titan) vs. Piston & Edmond Honda w/Fuji Hakuji- All Japan Tag Team champions
The next match would decide whether or not the Warlords would get a
shot at the All-Japan tag team titles at Imperial Mayhem. The Honda
brothers were facing Falcon and Tall Titan who were fresh off a big win
over the previously undefeated and seemingly unstoppable duo of Mad Clown
and Bear Hugger. The match was explosive and went back and forth several
times with neither team giving up much ground. However after several
minutes of an exciting match, Bear Hugger and Mad Clown appeared at the
top of the entrance ramp and they began walking to the ring.
Piston Honda and Tall Titan were fighting outside the ring while
Falcon and Edmond Honda were fighting inside the ring. Bear Hugger picked
up a steel chair at ringside and lifted it high in the air preparing to
slam it on the head of Tall Titan. But Titan moved just as Bear Hugger
began to swing the chair down, and the chair hit Piston Honda instead! The
referee turned just in time to see what had happened outside the ring, and
he called for the bell and awarded the match to the Honda Brothers by
disqualification. Both Edmond Honda and Warlord Falcon left the ring and
went after Hugger and Clown, who was already being attacked by Tall Titan.
Hugger and Clown quickly got out of there.
Cliff Rickond once again appeared on the Combat-Tron. He said due to the circumstances on how the Warlords lost the match, that he was over-ruling the stipulations and signing the match for Imperial Mayhem....The Warlords versus Piston and Edmond Honda for the All-Japan tag team titles! Fuji Hakuji was visibly angry with Rickond's decision. But both the Honda brothers and the Warlords were pointing and talking trash to each other, anticipating the next match.
MAIN EVENT
Fiji Islands Heavyweight Title Match
Karate Fighter vs. Phantom
Konger-champion
Phantom Konger was defending his Fiji Islands title one week before
his main event match at Imperial Mayhem for the International Heavyweight
title with DVR. Win, lose, or draw...Konger would still get his match. He
had so far managed to keep hold of the Fiji Islands title, although he
did manipulate a DQ win over Jin Kazama in one of those defenses. However
tonight, Karate Fighter of the Mat Maniacs was making his singles debut
following his return from an ankle injury. Karate Fighter's nose had a
bandage on it tonight as it had been smashed and bloodied on last week's
show. Karate Fighter looked good despite a bit of ring rust, and he was
breathing heavy due to the bandage on his nose restricting his oxygen.
Both factors gave the upper-hand to Phantom Konger as he eventually was
able to catch Karate Fighter in the Empire State Drop, and get the
pinfall. Phantom Konger successfully defends the Fiji Islands title once
again.
At the end of the show, Cliff Rickond once again appeared on the Combat-Tron and announced the remaining matches for Imperial Mayhem. The full card is now available on the CWI official website. Imperial Mayhem takes place next week!!
The show opened with a commercial for the Imperial Mayhem pay-per-view. The main event for
Imperial Mayhem will be announced following tonight's main even at Turnbuckle Taboo.
♣ ♣ ♣ ♣ ♣
(Back in the locker room of the Russians...)
Crusher and Cruncher grab their ushankas and place them on their heads. Then Crusher grabs the Russian flag, and both men
walk to the door as the Soviet National Anthem can be heard playing out in the arena. Then both men walk through the corridor
leading out to the entrance ramp..........and they are greeted by an overwhelming chorus of boos by the packed crowd.
CRUSHER: Comrade Cruncher, it is almost time for us to go to ring. Tonight, we make example of typical weak
competition in CWI. We destroy Orient Express, then we hold Russian flag high for all to salute.
CRUNCHER: Da, comrade. We punish Orient Express. Then we send message to other team that calls themself
Express.
CRUSHER: Da. We deal with Headhunter Express soon enough, comrade. Russia have best athletes in world. We
best athletes in Russia. That mean we best athletes in all world, comrade.
CRUNCHER: You speak truth, comrade Crusher. Now we go show world what best athletes in world do to weak
competition!
Orient Express vs. Crusher & Cruncher
The Orient Express had been completely destroyed by Bear Hugger & Mad Clown a couple weeks ago. Tonight they were hoping
to put up a better fight against the Russians. They did manage to do so, as Dragonfly brought the crowd to it's feet with his
savate kick that knocked Cruncher off his feet. The Orient Express had great chemistry tonight, and it looked as if Giant
Bull was about to submit Crusher with the Boston Crab, but Cruncher came in for the save as he drilled Giant Bull in the head
with his foot. The Russians quickly turned things around after that, and the Orient Express hopes of a redeeming win came up
short, as Cruncher delivered a Russian leg sweep on Dragonfly, then tagged in Crusher who applied the Cobra clutch. Dragonfly
held on for almost a minute trying to reach his partner for the tag, with the fans urging him on. But he couldn't quite reach
the outstretched hand of Giant Bull. And a laughing Crusher applied more pressure until Dragonfly collapsed into
unconsciousness from the pain. The referee called the match, and Crusher and Cruncher get the win.
Thunderhawk & Spirit & Quick Kick vs. Coco Savage & Karate
Fighter & Insane Warrior
The Freedom Fighters were taking on the Mat Maniacs in six-man tag action. Karate Fighter was making his return to the
ring, having just been cleared to wrestle following an ankle injury that kept him sidelined for a month. Although he had made
his presence felt week after week by assisting his stablemates with the use of his crutches. Tonight he was back, and the Mat
Maniacs looked stronger than ever. The match was never in doubt, as Savage, Insane Warrior, and Karate Fighter displayed
superior technique and power. Insane Warrior brought the match to a screetching halt with a series of vicious clotheslines on
Spirit of the Freedom Fighters. After the match, Insane Warrior grabbed a microphone and called out King Hippo, demanding a
rematch for the All-Japan Heavyweight title. But Fuji Hakuji appeared atop the entrance ramp with a microphone. He told
Insane Warrior that if the Mat Maniacs could defeat Scorp and King Hippo in a tag team match next week, that he would get his
rematch at Imperial Mayhem. Insane Warrior accepted the challenge, and chose Coco Savage to team with him next week.
African Warrior & Desert Dominator vs. Gung Ho & Nunchuk
W/Colonel Slugger
This tag team match was between two teams trying to make some headway up the tag team ranks from the bottom. Before the
match, Colonel Slugger declared that his group would from here on be known as the "Mercenaries". African Warrior and Desert
Dominator didn't seem to be impressed by the new stable name. The match was exciting, and Colonel Slugger stuck his hand in
every chance he got when the ref wasn't looking. However, African Warrior and Desert Dominator showed alot of resilience and
despite the constant interference from Colonel Slugger, they managed to take control of the match. African Warrior and Desert
Dominator showed excellent teamwork, and a spectacular double-team finisher known as the "Tribal Sacrifice" that took the
fight out of Gung Ho. African Warrior rolled him up for the pin. The Voodoo Tribe gets the win, and moves up the tag
team ranks.
Ninja Gaiden vs. Scorp w/Fuji Hakuji
Ninja Gaiden impressed everyone last week with his dominant performance over the Cuban Giant of Hakuji Incorporated. This
week he would face another Hakuji Inc foe. Another martial artist....the man known as Scorp. Scorp was looking to make some
noise in somewhat of a lackluster start to his CWI career so far. Both fighters put on a great show. And much like the Jin
Kazama/Super Ninja match from a week ago, the fans witnessed a tremendous exhibition of martial arts combat. The match was
non-stop excitement. Counter-move after counter-move, both men seemed to gain respect for each other as the match progressed.
The match had a ten minute time-limit. And it apparently wasn't enough, as neither man could pin or submit the other. After
the time limit expired, and the match was declaired a draw, Fuji Hakuji stepped in the ring beside his man, Scorp. They
stared at Ninja Gaiden for a few silent moments. Then Hakuji held up a microphone and asked Ninja Gaiden to join Hakuji
Incorporated. The fans immediately began screaming "NO" and "DON'T DO IT". And after a long minute, which seemed longer,
Ninja Gaiden shockingly accepted the offer!!! Ninja Gaiden and Scorp bowed to one another, and then Gaiden and Hakuji bowed
to each other. The fans were in shock, and even one small child in the front row could be seen in tears as if his hero had
let him down. Gaiden, Scorp, and Hakuji exited the arena together.
Warlords (Falcon & Tall Titan) vs. Bear Hugger & Mad Clown
A monumental tag team match was set to blow the roof off of the Lawaqa Park arena, as the mighty Warlords were taking on
the unstoppable humongous team of Bear Hugger and Mad Clown. Falcon was teaming with Tall Titan, as Viking was out with a
separated shoulder. Nobody had even come close to competing with Hugger and Clown up to this point. But they hadn't quite
faced a team like the Warlords yet. While Bear Hugger and Mad Clown were an ominous sight standing in the ring, the fans
erupted in unison as "War Machine" blasted over the speakers and Falcon and Tall Titan made their way to the ring. Halfway
down the ramp, the Warlords started running and slid into the ring, then they immediately charged towards the larger
opponents. Fists and forearms were flying, and the Warlords immediately cleared the ring as Falcon clotheslined Mad Clown
over the top rope to the floor, and Tall Titan threw Bear Hugger through the ropes to the outside. When the match officially
started, it was a match of strength against size. Hugger and Mad Clown were able to subdue the Warlords from time to time,
but with the fans behind them, the Warlords kept fighting back and knocking the big men off their feet. Things got dim
towards the end of the match as Falcon was caught in the bearhug of Bear Hugger. But to the amazement of Hugger and Clown,
Falcon broke free and knocked Hugger backwards with a forearm that would knock a T-Rex over. Falcon made the tag to Tall
Titan and he came in started going to town on Hugger. Mad Clown charged in, but Tall Titan saw him coming and hoisted Mad
Clown over the top rope to the floor. Then with the help of Falcon, Tall Titan picked Bear Hugger up onto his shoulders.
Falcon climbed to the top rope and soared like a falcon, and delivered a decapitating clothesline to Bear Hugger, knocking
him off Tall Titan's shoulders and crashing down to the mat. Tall Titan covered Hugger for the pin. And the Warlords make
their own case for a tag title match. After the match, Falcon issued a challenge to the All-Japan tag team champs, the Honda
brothers. However, once again it was Fuji Hakuji who came to the top of the ramp to address the challenge. He said that one
win wasn't enough to make them worthy of a shot, even if it was over a team like Bear Hugger and Mad Clown. But he said if
the Warlords could beat he Honda brothers in a non-title match next week, then they would get their title match at Imperial
Mayhem. Falcon told Hakuji that he and the Honda brothers were cowards, but he and Tall Titan would accept the stipulations.
Back in the locker room, Miki Fukazawa was interviewing Killer Fangs. Killer Fangs mentioned that the arrogance of DVR and Clover last week would cause something bad to happen to one of DVR's friends. Although he wouldn't go into detail of what he meant. Miki asked Killer Fangs what he meant by that, but Fangs only growled and displayed his sharp fanged teeth, then he walked away. A visibly shaken Miki Fukazawa breathed a sigh of relief.
Dynamo Man vs. Killer Fangs
Dynamo Man was facing an uphill challenge against a much larger, more fierce opponent. It is widely known that Dynamo Man
is a long-time friend of David Von Ramrock. And that might lead one to believe that Killer Fangs' warning earlier had been
eluding to the masked man. Dynamo Man had the fans behind him and he put up a very energetic attack at first on the large
fanged monster, and a couple hard right hands seemed to stun Killer Fangs for a second. But the offense was short-lived for
Dynamo Man, as Killer Fangs erupted in vicious fashion. He mercilessly pounded on Dynamo Man for several minutes.
Body-slamming him repeatedly and stomping on him. Fangs could have ended the match on several occassions, but he refused to
pin Dynamo Man just so he could continue punishing him. When he finally decided he was finished, Killer Fangs walked over and
placed his big boot onto the chest of Dynamo Man, and the ref counted the pin. However, Killer Fangs wasn't done. Even though
he had won the match, Killer Fangs grabbed the referee and threw him out of the ring to the floor. Gorf immediately ran down
to ringside, followed by the Mad Soldiers. Gorf tossed a steel chair into the ring to Fangs. Gorf and the Mad Soldiers stood
outside the ring blocking security guards and the other referees from entering the ring to stop the attack. Killer Fangs took
the steel chair, and placed the right leg of the barely conscious Dynamo Man in between the frame of the chair. Then Killer
Fangs climbed up to the top turnbuckle. He roared with his fists high in the air, as the fans screamed for him to stop.
Killer Fangs leaped off the top turnbuckle and crashed down onto the chair and leg of Dynamo Man. The impact made a sickening
thud, and Dynamo Man yelped in agony. The camera quickly turned away from the sickening sight of what appeared to be a broken
leg. Killer Fangs stood up and gritted his teeth at Dynamo Man. Then he exited the ring and joined Gorf and the Mad Soldiers
as they walked back up the ramp. The fans were throwing soda cups and other trash at the four men as they left. The referees
and medical team entered the ring immediately to assist Dynamo Man. After a few tense minutes, Dynamo Man was taken away on a
stretcher, and loaded up on an ambulance.
Okinawa Tag Team Title Match
Beach Dog & Desert Dog vs. Lion
& Tiger vs. Tornado Waster & Cyclone Killer vs. Thundering Mantis & Blazing Lotus
The newly unveiled Okinawa Tag Team titles were to be crowned in this Fatal-4 Way tag team match among four of the
underrated teams in the CWI. The rules would be as followed, only two men total in the ring at one time, and you would be
able to tag in a different team member, other than your own partner if you chose to do so. Depending on your team's strategy
on winning the match, that rule would come into play. If one team member was pinned or submitted then both members of the
that team would be eliminated from the match. There would be no time-limit, and there had to be a winner. The match was
fast-paced, and after the 5 minute mark, Tornado Waster was caught a high roundhouse kick by Thundering Mantis, and rolled up
for the pinfall, which eliminated Tornado Waster and Cyclone Killer. From there, Mantis walked over and slapped Lion on the
chest, forcing him to enter the match for his team. Mantis and Lion squared off, and thanks to a poke in the eyes, Lion got
the upper hand. He tagged in his partner, Tiger. And after hard knife-edge chops on Mantis, Tiger decided he would let
someone else do the work. So Tiger walked over and smacked Beach Dog on the shoulder as hard as he could, indicating that he
was tagging in Beach Dog. Beach Dog slungshot himself over the top rope. And while Beach Dog charged after Tiger who was
exiting the ring, the referee had to hold Beach Dog back. This gave Thundering Mantis enough time to roll over and tag in his
partner, Blazing Lotus. Lotus came in and caught Beach Dog off-guard, and came up from behind to roll Beach Dog up in a
pinning position. The referee counted to two, then just as his hand was coming down for the three....Beach Dog was able to
roll his shoulders up and reverse the move, and now he had Blazing Lotus' shoulders on the mat, Beach Dog strecthed his body
into a bridge to gain more leverage, and the Lotus could not kick out in time, as the referee counted to three. Thundering
Mantis and Blazing Lotus was eliminated.
And now it was down to the team of Beach Dog & Desert Dog and the team of Lion and Tiger. There had been some heat
builing up between these teams for the past couple weeks. And neither team held anything back. The fans were cheering the
Sand Hounds on. Both teams had several near pinfalls. Both were fighting for respect and for the new Okinawa tag team titles.
And towards the end of the match, Desert Dog had hit Tiger with his trademark move, the Catcus Cross-Body Block. He had Tiger
covered for what could have been a five-count! But the referee was distracted by Lion who entered the ring just as he saw
that his partner was in trouble. Beach Dog ran in to try and get the referee to turn around count the pinfall. But the
referee thought Beach Dog was coming in to fight Lion, so the referee began arguing with Beach Dog. This gave Lion the
opportunity to charge at Desert Dog and nail him with a hard knee to the back of his head. Then Lion rolled Desert Dog over
onto his back, and he rolled Tiger on top of Desert Dog. Neither Beach Dog nor the referee saw what happened because they
were arguing. Then Lion yelled at the ref to turn around. The referee saw that Tiger had Desert Dog pinned, so he ran over to
count, and Lion charged at Beach Dog and they began fighting in the corner, and a very agitated referee counted to three. And
Lion and Tiger steal the win, and become the very first Okinawa Tag Team Champions.
Chet Rayner was in the locker room of a very angry International Heavyweight champion, DVR. He told Rayner that he had arrived at the arena late, because the engine of his rental car had been tampered with. He suspected that Killer Fangs had something to do with it. He and Clover were very upset about what happened to Dynamo Man. DVR said he would have to try and focus on his title defense against Pirahna, because he was a very dangerous opponent, and that they had feuded in the past in the MPW.
MAIN EVENT
International Heavyweight Title Match
Pirahna vs. David Von Ramrock
w/Clover-champion
As the champion, DVR and Clover made their way to the ring, the fans cheered but neither DVR or Clover were in cheerful
mood. DVR's head was down as he walked down the ramp, his mind preoccupied with concern for his friend, Dynamo Man. Pirahna
seized the opportunity to make light of the situation, as he began laughing and limping around the ring as if his leg was
broken. DVR became enraged and he charged at his old foe without even taking off his championship belt and his tank top and
bandana. DVR let loose with a barrage of punches and kicks until Pirahna finally slid under the bottom rope to the floor to
regroup. DVR finally took off his belt and threw it down to the mat as the ref picked it up. Then DVR took off outside the
ring to chase after Pirahna. DVR ripped his tank top off and through it into the crowd, then he caught up with Pirahna. The
two men exchanged punches outside the ring, and then DVR slammed Pirahna into the announcers' table, sending papers and
beverages flying all over Kirk Chaser and Toshibi Kagiro. Then DVR threw Pirahna back into the ring, and began unloading
fists to the masked man's head.
Karate Fighter, Insane Warrior, and Coco Savage all appeared atop the entrance ramp and they began running to ringside.
They didn't enter the ring however. They surrounded three sides of the ring, while Clover took refuge on the side next to the
wrecked announcer's table. DVR saw the Mat Maniacs standing around the ring, and he immediately looked over to see if Clover
was alright. Pirahna came up from behind and nailed DVR with a forearm to the back of the neck. Clover screamed and placed
her hands on top of her head. Then suddenly the Warlords, Falcon and Tall Titan charge from the entrance ramp and run down to
ringside. Insane Warrior and Coco Savage meet them head on and a battle ensues outside the ring. The fans begin cheering for
DVR, and he begins to fight back. DVR and Pirahna exchange punches until DVR gets the upper hand. DVR whips Pirahna into the
ropes and nails him with a flying head-butt. Karate Fighter jumps up onto the ring apron, as he fears his partner is in
danger. Clover runs over and grabs Karate Fighter's ankles and yanks him down, and causes him to hit his head on the ring
apron. DVR picks Pirahna up and executes the Ramrock Shock! DVR covers Pirahna for the pinfall, and gets the win! DVR
successfully defends the International Heavyweight title.
After the match, the Walords join DVR and Clover in the ring, as the Mat Maniacs make their way back up
the entrance ramp. Karate Fighter is holding his nose as blood is streaming out of it. The Turnbuckle Taboo President, Cliff
Rickond, appears on the giant Combat-Tron screen above the entrance ramp. He congratulates DVR on his title defense. Then he
announces that DVR will be in the Main Event at Imperial Mayhem to defend the International Heavyweight title in a
Triple-Threat match against..........the Fiji Islands Heavyweight champion, Phantom Konger.........and.......Killer Fangs!!
DVR nods his head after he hears the name, Killer Fangs. The fans cheer in excitement, and begin chanting
D-V-R....D-V-R....and the show comes to a close as DVR, Clover, and the Walords Falcon and Tall Titan stand in the center of
the ring.
