As the scene opens in the backstage area of the
Budokan arena, we see the camera pan around various camera crew and other
Turnbuckle Taboo production crew going busily about their tasks getting
ready for the start of the program. The the camera pans back and focuses
on Megarok and Clover who have just entered the arena and are walking towards
the dressing room area. They smile and speak to a few of the CWI workers
as they pass by them.
However the smile on Megarok's face quickly vanishes and he and Clover
come to a halt as they meet two large menacing figures who have stepped
into their path. Killer Fangs and Gorf! Both Megarok and Clover eye them
suspiciously.
KILLER FANGS: "Megarok, You got real lucky last time. But
next time you won't be fortunate. That is, if you have the guts to give me
another title match for the International Heavyweight belt!"
GORF:"Yeah, little man. Do you have the guts!?"
Clover replies first........
CLOVER: "Maybe you should win a match or two before you
try to make any title shot demands, jackass."
Megarok chuckles...
Megarok: "You tell him, girl."
An annoyed frown forms on Killer Fangs' face, and his abnormally long
canine teeth portrude from his lips, making him look almost like a
vampire. Gorf's usual psychotic stare becomes even more apparent than
usual.
KILLER FANGS: "How touching. You let the little lady
speak on your behalf."
Megarok: "And why shouldn't she? I agree with everything she
just said. Especially the part about you being a jackass."
Clover laughs and Killer Fangs becomes even more agitated.
KILLER FANGS: "You need to realize something, Megarok.
When me and Gorf get serious.....we break people's arms. We break their
legs."
GORF: "WE....BREAK...THEIR...HAIR!!"
Megarok and Clover both look at Gorf with their eyebrows raised as if he
is the biggest idiot in the world. Even Killer Fangs looks at Gorf through
the corner of his eye, and growls softly. Then Megarok reaches into his pocket
and pulls out a ten dollar bill and reaches it out to Gorf.
Megarok: "Speaking of hair. Here's ten bucks. Why don't you
go down to Great Clips and have them shave that monstrosity off the top of
your head."
Gorf takes the money with a puzzled look on his face. Then he stares
the bill for a few seconds and starts sniffing it. He starts to put the
money in his mouth as if he is going to eat it, but Killer Fangs grabs his
arm and stops him.
Megarok: "Well, it's been lovely chatting with you guys. But
me and Clover need to go meet up with Interceptor and Silencer 7. You
remember them right? You have a tag team match against them tonight. So if
I were you guys, I would stop worrying about my International Heavyweight
title, and start worrying about the beating coming your way in a little
while. Hasta luego, jackasses."
Megarok shoves Gorf to the side and he and Clover walk past the two large
men. Killer Fangs grits his large fanged teeth. While Gorf is busy looking
side to side and then staring at the ten dollar bill once again. Killer
Fangs rolls his eyes in disgust.
Thundering Mantis & Blazing Lotus vs. Great Maskmen
The opening match was a good one. And just like a couple weeks
earlier, the team of the Great Maskmen tried to use a chair on the outside
of the ring to get the upper hand on their opponents. However this time it
backfired, as just as Green Mask was getting ready to nail Thundering
Mantis with a chair, the big seven-foot three-inch Tae Kwon Do master
whirled around with his leg spinning as his big foot smashed into the
chair knocking it into Green Mask's head. Green Mask was out cold.
Thundering Mantis threw him into the ring and Blazing Lotus covered him
for the pin.
Ninja Gaiden vs. Cuban Giant w/Fuji Hakuji
Ninja Gaiden was suppose to be a huge underdog in this match as he was
facing the biggest man in the CWI, Cuban Giant. Gaiden had lost to Phantom
Konger three weeks ago, so nobody would have expected him to beat an even
larger opponent. However, Ninja Gaiden was like a man possessed. Cuban
Giant couldn't even catch him. Gaiden would stop and deliver a
bone-shattering kick or punch to the thighs and shins of Cuban Giant and
then roll away before the Giant could retalliate. The strategy was
flawless as Gaiden chopped down the Cuban Giant by attacking his legs
until he couldn't stand. Ninja Gaiden finished Cuban Giant off to the
bewilderment of Fuji Hakuji, by jumping off the top turnbuckle and
executing a brilliant moonsault splash. Ninja Gaiden wins by pinfall and
shocks Fuji Hakuji and his Giant!
Headhunter Express vs. Gorf & Killer Fangs
Gorf and Killer Fangs were standing in the ring awaiting their
opponents amidst a roar of boos from the fans in the Budokan. Then the
eerie roar of a haunted locomotive blasted over the arena speakers and the
fans erupted in cheers. The locomotive sound is followed by the music of
"Spy Hunter Theme" by Saliva. Interceptor and Silencer 7 walk to the ring
never taking their eyes off of Fangs and Gorf. The masked men have never
spoken a single word in public. They seem to be emotionless soldiers of
destruction. Megarok and Clover appear to be the only people that can
communicate with them through some kind of sign language.
The match starts as soon as the Headhunter Express enters the ring, as
Fangs and Gorf attack them immediately. The match is wild and it goes back
and forth with alot of high-impact slams and clotheslines. This match
could stand alone as a main event. In the end, it was Interceptor hitting
Gorf with the "Interception" which is a form of the Stone Cold stunner.
Then he nailed him with the "heart punch". Then he tagged in Silencer 7,
who came in put Gorf in the "Spinal Snap", his version of the torture rack
backbreaker. Killer Fangs tried to come in and save Gorf, but Interceptor
nailed him with a clothesline sending him over the top rope. Gorf
submitted, and the Headhunter Express wins the match.
After the match, the Soviet National Anthem began playing over the speakers, and Crusher and Cruncher appeared on the giant screen above the entrance ramp. They called out the Headhunter Express, and told them that the war they started a couple weeks ago was NOT OVER YET!
Crush Brothers vs. Bear Hugger & Mad Clown
The former All-Japan tag team champions, the Crush Brothers were
returning to the ring for the first time since they lost the titles to the
Honda Brothers. They would be facing an even larger team than the Hondas,
because their opponents were the very scary duo of Bear Hugger and Mad
Clown. And once again, Hugger and Clown appear to be unstoppable! They
completely destroyed the Crush Brothers in an match that wasn't even close
to being competitive. Mad Clown finished off Billy Crush with a giant leg
drop. Bear Hugger and Mad Clown may very well find themselves in a head-on
collision with the Honda Brothers very very soon!
Pablo Millipede vs. Pirahna
Pablo Millipede had impressed everyone with his win over Scorp of
Hakuji Incorporated in his debut. And tonight he was facing Pirahna of the
Mat Maniacs. Millipede was impressive again in this match, however Pirahna
would prove to be too much. Pirahna chalks up another win by beating Pablo
Millipede with an elbow drop from the top rope. The "dirtiest fighter" in
the Mat Maniacs' crew now has wins over Pablo Millipede and King Hippo. He
had somewhat of a feud with International Champion, Megarok, in another fed
last year. Which was noted by the announcers Kirk Chaser and Toshibi
Kagiro during the match. Some think that Pirahna may be Megarok's next
challenger for the International title.
Jin Kazama w/Ling Xiaoyu vs. Super Ninja
Jin Kazama took a tough disqualification loss last week in a title
match against Fiji Islands champion, Phantom Konger. Tonight he was facing
former All-Japan Heavyweight champion, Super Ninja. Both wrestlers showed
the audience why they were considered among the elite martial artists in
Asia. It was one move and counter move after another. And just when it
looked like Kazama was getting the upper hand, Samurai and Shogun decided
to stick their noses into it. They came to ringside to distract Kazama,
and while Ling Xiaoyu tried to make them stop, she just couldn't handle
them both. Super Ninja was able to roll Kazama up and grab the ropes for
leverage, and the referee who counted the pinfall without seeing it. Super
Ninja gets the win, and Jin Kazama after looking so impressive in his
debut match, has now lost two weeks in a row.
All-Japan Heavyweight Title Match
King Hippo w/Fuji Hakuji vs. Insane
Warrior-champion
The feud between the Mat Maniacs and Hakuji Incorporated has been
quite intense over the past few weeks. And now King Hippo was facing a Mat
Maniac member for the third week in a row. He lost to Pirahna, then he got
revenge by beating Coco Savage. And now he would be facing Insane Warrior
for the All-Japan Heavyweight title. The match exploded from the start.
The fans appeared to be cheering for Insane Warrior. Insane Warrior tried
clotheslining the big man several times but he couldn't get him off his
feet. King Hippo was landing several large fists to the head of Insane
Warrior, but the painted-face Warrior kept charging at the larger
opponent. A ruckus took place atop the entrance ramp as Karate Fighter(on
his crutches), Pirahna, and Coco Savage along with the Great Maskmen were
battling with the rest of Hakuji Incorporated, Cuban Giant, Piston &
Edmond Honda, and Scorp. While in the ring, King Hippo managed to finish
off Insane Warrior. King Hippo gets the win and brings home another title
for Hakuji Incorporated, by becoming the new All-Japan Heavyweight
Champion.
Before the main event, Miki Fukazawa was in the back
talking to the challengers, Jaguar & Cougar and their manager, Pantha.
Jaguar said it was time for he and Cougar to shine in the CWI. Cougar said
it was destiny for he and Jaguar to become tag team champions. Their
manager, Pantha agreed.
Chet Rayner was in the locker room with the International tag team
champs, the Mad Soldiers. Both Iron and Muscle made crude remarks about
Jaguar & Cougar's manager, Pantha. They said the match wouldn't be much
more than a tune-up for them.
MAIN EVENT
International Tag Team Title Match
Jaguar & Cougar w/Pantha vs. Mad Soldiers-champions
The challengers immediately took control of the match from the start,
and didn't let up. Jaguar and Cougar epitomized teamwork from every aspect
of the word. The Mad Soldiers battled back briefly as Muscle Soldier
connected with a neckbreaker. Iron Soldier tagged in and went for a lariat
clothesline, but Cougar ducked and bounced off the ropes, then came back
and caught Iron Soldier with a flying body tackle. From there, Jaguar and
Cougar seemed to shift gears into another level of tag team chemistry. By
the twelve minute mark, they executed their finisher, "Teeth and Claws" on
Iron Soldier, then Jaguar covered him for the pin. And with their manager,
Pantha standing beside them, Jaguar and Cougar were crowned as the new
International Tag Team Champions!
As the show ended, the announcement of the CWI's first pay-per-view was made to the television audience, as well as the thousands of fans in the Budokan. The event will be called "Imperial Mayhem" and it will be held on May 15, 2009 at the Kitakyushu Media Dome in Kitakyushu City, Japan.
The scene opens in the locker room of Beach Dog and
Desert Dog. Beach Dog is already in his gear, and he is busy at task on
shining and buffing a long orange and green colored surfboard. Beach Boys
music can be heard playing from a boombox on the floor. Beach Dog is
singing along with the song...."Everybody's going surfin.....SURFIN'
USA"...
Desert Dog walks in and looks down at the board and cocks an eyebrow.
"You missed a spot, dude.", he says.
"Thanks, double-D.", Beach Dog replies.
"No prob, dog."
Beach Dog rubs some polish onto the spot that Desert Dog pointed to.
Then he high-fives his partner.
The camera pans over to the doorway of the locker room. The door is
open, and Lion and Tiger are standing there watching with disgusted looks
on their faces. They look at each other and shake their heads. Then Lion
speaks out to Beach Dog and Desert Dog.
"I hope you boys know, that we are having a 'wrestling' match tonite.
Not a surfing contest."
Then Lion and Tiger walk away. Beach Dog and Desert Dog look at each
other and shrug their shoulders. Then Beach Dog speaks.
"I'm totally gonna 'hang ten' knuckles on that bogus Lion-dude's jaw
tonight."
Beach Dog & Desert Dog vs. Lion & Tiger
Lion & Tiger entered the ring first and were all business as they
paced around the ring awaiting their opponents. Then "Surfin' USA" by the
Beach Boys hit the speakers and the fans cheered as Beach Dog and Desert
Dog jogged down to the ring. Beach Dog had his polished surfboard in hand.
He stopped before entering the ring, and walked over to the ringside
railing where he spotted a small Japanese kid wearing a Beach Dog t-shirt.
Beach Dog smiled at the kid and patted him on the head. Beach Dog pulled a
sharpie out of his shorts' pocket and autographed the surfboard. Then he
handed it to the child and his father seated next to him. The little boy
erupted with excitement and a wide grin formed on his face. Then Beach Dog
entered the ring alongside his partner, Desert Dog. Lion & Tiger sneered
at the whole scene.
The bell rang, and fists started flying. Beach Dog and Lion threw
everything at each other, even the kitchen sink! The match went back and
fort, with the fans overwhelmingly cheering for the Dogs. However, Lion
got the upperhand and he and Tiger managed to keep Beach Dog from tagging
his partner. They pounded on Beach Dog relentlessly, and kept tagging in
and out. Desert Dog could only watch helplessly from the corner. Beach Dog
came so close to making the tag several times, but he was always stopped
just short. He put up a great fight, but he took so much punishment from
Lion and Tiger that he finally was unable to kick out from the pinfall
following a top rope splash by Tiger. Lion & Tiger gets the win over one
of the most popular fan-favorite teams in the CWI.
Tall Titan vs.
Super Ninja
Tall Titan was making his singles debut in the CWI, while Super Ninja
was trying to get back on the winning track after losing his All-Japan
title to Insane Warrior a couple weeks earlier. However, the match came to
a screeching halt after only 4 minutes of action. Samurai and Shogun had
made their way to ringside to watch their leader in action. While Viking
and Falcon decided that they didn't like the idea very much. This turned
into an all out brawl outside the ring while the match was going on. This
led to Tall Titan and Super Ninja exiting the ring to join the fight. The
referee had no choice but to stop the match with no winner declared.
Tornado Waster & Cyclone Killer vs. Jaguar & Cougar w/Pantha
Jaguar and Cougar were
introducing their new manager, the sexy Pantha. And it soon became clear
that she wasn't there just for her looks. Pantha took every chance she
could to try and distract or taunt her team's opponents. waster and Killer
were becoming quite annoyed by her antics. Which seemed to pay off in the
end, as Jaguar and Cougar were able to execute their tag finisher, "Teeth
and Claws" on Tornado Waster. Then Cougar rolled him up for the pin.
Thunderhawk & Spirit & Quick Kick vs. Colonel Slugger & Gung Ho &
Nunchuk
Rumors have been flying in the CWI that there soon might be a Six-Man
tag team championship trophy unveiled in th near future. And with a couple
six-man tag matches signed for tonight's card. Those rumors are gaining
strength. The first of those matches featured several new signees to the
CWI. The team of Thunderhawk, Spirit, and Quick Kick were showing some
great chemistry early on. But the team led by Colonel Slugger, who was
donning some new flashier threads tonight, soon gained the upper hand
thanks to some illegal tatics. The Colonel and his new henchmen, Gung Ho
and Nunchuk dispatched of their enemies and took the win. Colonel Slugger
was interviewed by Miki Fukazawa at ringside after the match, and he
warned the rest of the CWI that his army had declared war on the rest of
the league!
Coco Savage vs. King Hippo w/Fuji Hakuji
Last week was kinda rough for Hakuji Incorporated, losing both their
matches. One match in particular was the match King Hippo lost to Pirahna,
thanks to some outside interference by Coco Savage. Tonight, King Hippo
had his chance for some revenge on Mat Maniacs, and in particular...Coco
Savage. King Hippo was like a monster possessed. With his big jaws
chomping, he kept lunging after Coco Savage. Savage repeatedly tried to
knock the big man backwards with a shoulder block. But Hippo was just too
big and heavy. Savage did manage to stagger Hippo a few times with some
hard chops to the head. But King Hippo kept roaring back at the command of
his manager, Fuji Hakuji. And just like last week, the rest of the Mat
Maniacs charged out to the ring, and they were once again met by the rest
of Hakuji Incorporated. With the slight advantage in size and numbers,
Hakuji Incorporated won the battle both in and out of the ring. King Hippo
gets some revenge by taking out Coco Savage for the win.
Interceptor & Silencer 7 & Megarok w/Clover vs. Killer Fangs & the Mad Soldiers
The action erupted quickly in the second six-man tag team match of the
night. But this was far from being a wrestling contest. All six men began
fighting as soon as the Headhunter Express and Megarok hit the ring. The
referee never gained control of the match. Megarok and Killer Fangs were
having an all-out slugfest, while Interceptor and Silencer 7 were battling
the Mad Soldiers. And then all heck really broke loose, as Gorf decided to
intervene. He was making his way to ringside when he suddenly was tackled
from behind by Tall Titan of the Warlords! And then Crusher and Cruncher
came running out to help Gorf. As the Russians began pounding on Tall
Titan, the other Warlords hit the scene. Viking and Falcon evened things
up. And there were 12 men in all fighting around the ring. Then everything
got so confusing for the referee as the Headhunter Express began fighting
with the Russians, as they still had bad blood from their match last week.
Then the Warlords were fighting with the Mad Soldiers. The referee didn't
know what else to do. He called for the bell to stop the match. But
everyone kept right on fighting.
Several security guards and a couple more referees came to ringside to
clear up the brawl. When the smoke had cleared, Viking of the Warlords
appeared to have somewhat of an injury to his arm or shoulder. But he
walked back to the dressing room under his own power.
Fiji Islands Heavyweight Title Match
Jin Kazama w/Ling Xiaoyu vs. Phantom
Konger-champion
The first title match of the night featured the very impressive
challenger, Jin Kazama. Phantom Konger however isn't impressed with
martial artists however, as he noted in an interview with Chet Rayner
before the match. Konger said he would destroy Kazama just like he
destroyed Ninja Gaiden a couple weeks ago. But it wasn't quite that easy.
Kazama took the fight to the champion early on. Kazama continued to be as
impressive as he had been last week against Falley Hirsch. But Konger is a
powerful champion, and he managed to absorb the punishing kicks and
punches by Kazama, and return fire with some powerful forearms and
bodyslams. But Kazama was able to flip right back up to his feet time
after time. Konger could feel his title reign slipping through his gloved
fingers. So Konger exited the ring and started yelling at Kazama's
manager, the lovely Ling Xiaoyu. He even went so far as shoving her. This
prompted immediate retaliation by Xiaoyu, as she slapped Konger across the
face. The blow was a good one, and Konger made it look even better as he
staggered back and fell against the ring railing. The referee paused for
a couple seconds, then called for the bell. As he awarded the match to the
champion, Phantom Konger, due to outside interference by Jin Kazama's
manager, Ling Xiaoyu. The fans booed, and Jin Kazama was infuriated at the
referee. Kazama grabbed the referee by his shirt and cocked his fist back
preparing to knock his teeth out. But after a few seconds, he released the
referee, and exited the ring to join Ling Xiaoyu. The couple exited the
arena without further incident.
MAIN EVENT
All-Japan Tag Team Title Match
Warlords(Viking & Falcon) vs. Piston & Edmond
Honda w/Fuji Hakuji-champions
Back in the locker room, the camera showed Viking getting some
finishing touches on a massage for his shoulder by a physician. The
physician suggested that the match be postponed, but Viking and Falcon
would have none of that talk. The made their way to the ring as 'War
Machine' by Kiss blasted over the arena speakers. Fuji Hakuji led the
Honda Brothers to the ring, as they held the All-Japan tag team titles
over their shoulders. The match began, and Falcon started off for the
Warlords. The match was an instant classic, however it was quite obvious
that Viking was less than 80 percent effective. This gave a serious
advantage to the already larger team of Piston and Edmond Honda. And after
putting up such a strong fight for the titles, the Warlords title hopes
were finally ended, as Edmond Honda sumo slapped Viking onto the mat, the
dropped his entire weight onto the injured shoulder of Viking. Viking was
writhing in pain. But the Honda Brothers didn't even attempt a pinfall.
They kept tagging in and out, applying hold after hold onto the shoulder
of an immobile Viking. However, Viking would not submit. He kept yelling
in agony, but refused to tap out or submit. Falcon finally had seen
enough, and called for the referee to call the match because he was afraid
the damage to his partner's shoulder might become career threatening. As
Falcon helped Viking out of the ring, Fuji Hakuji and the Honda Brothers
stood in the middle of the ring with the All-Japan tag team titles held
high.
At the end of the show, it was announced that both the International tag team titles and the All-Japan Heavyweight title would be defended next week at the Budokan in Tokyo, Japan.
The scene opens in the locker room of Killer Fangs. He is lacing his boots, and suddenly he stops as he looks up and sees Gorf. Gorf tells Killer Fangs that "they" agreed to the deal, and everything will go according to his instructions. Killer Fangs nods and Gorfs leaves. A sinister grin forms on Killer Fangs face........and the camera switches to an electrifying crowd in the Saitama Super Arena.
Great Maskmen vs. Samurai &
Shogun
The opening match pits two heel tag teams against one another. In the end, Green Mask
of the Great Maskmen used a chair outside the ring on Samurai, then rolled him back into
the ring for Stonehead to finish him off with a piledriver. The whole while the referee had
been trying to keep Shogun in his corner, not knowing what was going on behind his back.
Shogun's insistence to aid Samurai inadvertently gave the Great Maskmen the chance to use a
foreign object for the easy shortcut win.
Furious Falley Hirsch vs. Jin
Kazama w/Ling Xiaoyu
Falley Hirsch finally returned to action after being cleared by Japanese physicians to
wrestle. Hirsch had earlier been diagnosed with chronic concussion disorder in the USA. But
he left the States to seek a second opinion in Japan, and signed with the CWI. Hirsch
could not have faced a more dangerous opponent however. Jin Kazama's reputation in Japan
is unrivalled in underground fighting lore. Kazama's attack was relentless and precise. He
took out Hirsch in less than two minutes, with his lovely yet deceptively dangerous valet,
Ling Xiaoyu looking on. Kazama's debut in the CWI was astonishingly impressive.
Headhunter Express vs. Crusher
& Cruncher
This match was chaotic from the very beginning. Almost from the time the bell rang,
both teams threw out the rulebook and turned this thing into a wild tornado tag team style
match. Silencer 7 and Interceptor was cheered on by the thousands of screaming fans as they
took the fight to the Russians. The fight led outside the ring within the third minute of
the match, and it never returned to the ring. Forcing the referee to count out both teams.
The match ends in a double count out.
Before the next match, the scene went back to the locker room as Miki
Fukazawa interviewed the stable of the Mat Maniacs, Karate Fighter(still on
crutches), Coco Savage, All-Japan Champion Insane Warrior, and Pirahna. Pirahna declared
war on his opponent in the upcoming match. The much larger King Hippo of Hakuji
Incorporated. When the interview was over, Miki switched things over to Chet Rayner in the
locker room of Hakuji Incorporated.
Fuji Hakuji dismissed the words of Pirahna, and in a heavy Japanese accent condemmed the
arrogance of the Mat Maniacs. King Hippo chomped his big jaws and Chet Rayner was
trembling in fear while holding the microphone. Rayner quickly tossed things back out to
Kirk Chaser and Toshibi Kagiro at ringside.
Pirahna vs. King Hippo w/Fuji
Hakuji
The gauntlet had been dropped during the interviews, and the two fighters representing
their respective stables did not disappoint. Pirahna managed to keep the giant King Hippo
at bay by delivering quick and decisive kicks to his large stomach. King Hippo was slowed
down quite a bit as he had trouble keeping his shorts up. Hippo managed to get hold of
Pirahna and had him in a vicious choke hold. Pirahna escaped by gouging King Hippo in the
eyes. Karate Fighter began walking down the ramp on his crutches to the ring. Just as he
did last week when he "loaned" one of his crutches to Insane Warrior to smash Super Ninja
over the head. However, Scorp of Hakuji Incorporated tackled Karate Fighter halfway down
the ramp and started stomping on his injured ankle. Insane Warrior ran out to help Karate
Fighter. This prompted the Honda brothers, Piston and Edmond, along with Cuban Giant, to
come out and join the brawl on the ramp.
Back in the ring, King Hippo tossed Pirahna out of the ring to the floor. Fuji Hakuji
walked over to yell at Pirahna. The referee warned Hakuji to stay away from Pirahna.
Meanwhile from out of the crowd, Coco Savage emerged and climbed onto the top turnbuckle of
the ring. Savage leaped off the turnbucke and delivered a double forearm smash to the back
of King Hippo's head. The blow knocked Hippo forward, with his neck falling onto the top
rope, then snapping him onto his back in the middle of the ring. Savage slid out of the
ring unseen or heard by the ref. Pirahna climbed back into the ring and delivered a flying
body splash from the top rope, and covered Hippo for the pinfall. The Mat Maniacs win the
first battle of the war with Hakuji Incorporated. Even being outnumbered and outsized.
Orient Express vs. Bear Hugger
& Mad Clown
This match was very ugly. Bear Hugger and Mad Clown were so ferocious and powerful,
they completely demolished a very respectable tag team in the Orient Express. Dragonfly's
kicks were pretty much not effective at all against the two behemoths. Giant Bull didn't
look like a giant at all. He was dwarfed by Hugger and Clown. Dragonfly was forced to
submit to the intense pain from a bear hug by Bear Hugger. Mad Clown and Bear Hugger will
no doubt be in line for a tag title match of some sort very very soon!
Pablo Millipede vs. Scorp
w/Fuji Hakuji
Hakuji Incorporated was still steaming from the events earlier in the program. It was
up to Scorp to set his stable back on the winning track. However, the "Mexican Whirlwind"
Pablo Millipede was out to show that he was no pushover. The match was fast paced, and back
and forth for several minutes. Both masked wrestlers displayed impressive acrobatic moves
and counter moves. In the end, it was Millipede with the "1,000 Peso Jackpot", which is a
450 splash off the top turnbuckle. Millipede gets the upset win over Scorp, and hands
Hakuji Incorporated its second loss of the night!
MAIN EVENT
International Heavyweight Title Match
Killer Fangs vs. David Megarok w/Clover-champion
The main event was on. Killer Fangs had won the battle royal from last week to earn
$10,000 and a title shot for the International Heavyweight title held by David Megarok.
As seen at the top of the program, Killer Fangs had communicated some kind of negotiation
through his ally, Gorf, with two or more unidentitified persons. Megarok's valet, Clover was
watching nervously at ringside, expecting a sneak attack at any moment from any direction.
However, no attack came within the first several minutes of the match. Fangs was frustrated
as he couldn't seem to shake the champion, Megarok. Megarok's attack was methodical and his
defenses were inpenetrable. Fangs managed to finally gain the upper hand after the ten
minute mark following a kick to the groin of Megarok. But the fans began cheering loudly, and
Megarok fought back with several uppercuts, followed by a jumping spinning back kick that
knocked Killer Fangs into the corner. Megarok ran over and climbed the ropes and started
pounding on Fangs' head with fists as the fans counted to ten in mostly Japanese.
A sudden barrage of shrieks from the crowd alerted Megarok to a disturbance outside the
ring, as the MAD SOLDIERS GRABBED CLOVER! Clover was screaming and kicking, but the grips
of Muscle and Iron Soldier were too strong as they carried Clover up the entrance ramp. Megarok
started to go rescue her, but Killer Fangs nailed him with an elbow to the back of the
head. Things looked bleak for the beautiful blonde bombshell, as Gorf met the Mad Soldiers
at the top of the ramp. Clover was in tears as she was being held hostage by the three men.
Then all of a sudden the music of the Walords hit the arena speakers!! WAR MACHINE by
KISS! All three Warlords charged from behind the curtain and began attacking Gorf and the
Mad Soldiers. Tall Titan, Viking, and Falcon pounded away on the would-be kidnappers.
Interceptor and Silencer 7 were next to emerge from the back and came to the aid of a
visibly shaken, Clover. Interceptor escorted Clover back down to ringside, as Silencer 7
joined in on the battle to aid the Warlords.
Killer Fangs had seen what had happened and lost his focus, allowing Megarok to regain his
composure. Megarok leveled Killer Fangs with a devastating right hook. Then he slung Fangs into
the ropes and knocked him down with a flying headbutt! Megarok then lifted Fangs up and
finished him off with the Megarok SHOCK! Megarok covered Killer Fangs for the pinfall, and
retained his International Heavyweight title. After the match Megarok thanked both his
partners of the Headhunter Express, and the Warlords who saved Clover from the Mad Soldiers
and Gorf.
At the end of the show, it was announced that the Warlords Viking and Falcon would square off in the Main Event next week against the All-Japan tag team champions, Piston & Edmond Honda. Also, Megarok and the Headhunter Express would fight Killer Fangs and the Mad Soldiers in a six-man tag team match!!
The scene opens in the parking lot as a limo pulls
to a stop. One of the doors at the end of the limo on the right side
opens. Out steps one-half of the All-Japan Tag Team Champions, Billy
Crush. His brother Bo steps out next. They are dressed in matching blue
Adidas jogging suits, and each man has an All-Japan tag title over his
shoulder. They smile briefly as they pass the camera.
Mere seconds after the Crush Brothers are out of view walking into the
arena, the camera pans back to the far side of the parking lot. An
oriental man in a light blue tuxedo stands with two giant wrestlers.
Piston and Edmond Honda. The Honda Brothers exchange glances with each
other, nodding in unuttered confidence. Fuji Hakuji, the man in the
tuxedo, speaks something in Japanese to the two brothers. They each grit
their teeth, then bow to Fuji Hakuji.
Beach Dog & Desert Dog vs. Tornado Waster & Cyclone Killer
The opening match of the first broadcast of Turnbuckle Taboo excites
the crowd of the Dojo Dome. Tonight's program is being broacast over ASN -
Asian Sports Network. The hosts of the show are legendary Judo master,
Toshibi Kagiro and wrestling analyst, Kirk Chaser. Backstage interviews
are being handled by Miki Fukazawa and Chet Rayner. The opening match is
exciting with two of the best high-flying tag teams in the CWI. Beach Dog
& Desert Dog are very popular with the Japanese fans. Waster & Killer
waste no time in bending the rules. The match goes back and forth with
several high-risk maneuvers from the top turnbuckle. Very appropriate for
the name of the program. In the end, Tornado Waster & Cyclone Killer come
out on top, as they finish off Desert Dog with a double team finisher they
call "Wind Damage". They take a step towards moving up the ranks in the
tag team division over another quality tag team.
Fiji Islands Heavyweight Title Match
Ninja Gaiden vs. Phantom
Konger-champion
Ninja Gaiden was impressive early on, hitting on several spinning high
kicks and roundhouse kicks to the hip and shoulder of the larger champion,
Konger. But the big man absorbed the blows and fought back with some
powerful forearm smashes and clotheslines. Gaiden tried to chop the big
man down to size, but Konger would have nothing of it. Konger finished
Gaiden off after seven minutes, with the "Empire State Drop". Konger
retained the Fiji Islands title.
All-Japan Tag Team Title Match
Piston & Edmond Honda w/Fuji Hakuji vs. Crush
Brothers-champions
Fuji Hakuji led his behemoth tag team to the ring after declaring in
an interview backstage with Miki Fukazawa, that the All-Japan tag team
titles will be taken from the Americans by the greatest Japanese tag team
in the world! The Honda brothers had a distinct size advantage in the
match, and it would ultimately spell doom for the Crush Brothers. Edmond
Honda chopped relentlessly on a battered Bo Crush. Piston Honda added to
the punishment with several hard fists to the ribs and chin of the elder
Crush brother. Billy could only watch as Edmond Honda finished off his
brother with a giant sumo slap, followed by a butt-splash off the second
turnbuckle. Bo Crush would need assistance from the ringside medics after
the match. Brother Billy was attacked after the match for good measure by
the Honda Brothers. When they were finished, they held the All-Japan tag
titles high in the air.
All-Japan Heavyweight Title Match
Insane Warrior vs. Super Ninja-champion
Super Ninja versus Insane Warrior proved to be a volatile clash! The
match went in and out of the ring several times. Insane Warrior was
clotheslining the champ all over the ring. Super Ninja somehow managed to
get back to his feet time after time to counter with several devastating
punches and kicks from unusual angles. However, Samurai and Shogun decided
to come to ringside to offer some "assistance". However they were
unpleasantly suprised by what would happen next. Insane Warrior had a few
assistants of his own, as Pirahna, Coco Savage, and an injured Karate
Fighter walking on crutches came to ringside to stand in the corner of
Insane Warrior. One thing led to another outside the ring and it resulted
in a fight as Samurai and Shogun were fighting with Pirahna and Coco
Savage. The referee took his eyes off the action in the ring to see what
was happening outside the ring. This gave Karate Fighter enough time to
slide one of his metal crutches into the ring to Insane Warrior. Warrior
then smashed Super Ninja over the head, knocking him unconscious. The
Insane Warrior slid the crutch back out of the ring to Karate Fighter, and
covered Super Ninja just as the ref turned his head back to what was going
on in the ring. Insane Warrior gets the win and becomes the new All-Japan
Heavyweight Champion.
International Tag Team Title Match
Thundering Mantis & Blazing Lotus vs. Mad Soldiers-champions
The Mad Soldiers suprised some folks by winning the International tag
team titles last week in the battle royal. And they were defending the
belts tonight against a very underrated team of Thundering Mantis and
Blazing Lotus. The action was hot and heavy as Thundering Mantis stole the
show. The 7"3 tae kwon do master was brilliant in his execution. His
partner, Blazing Lotus was also impressive. But just as they had done a
week earlier, the Mad Soldiers would once again prevail. Muscle Soldier
finished Blazing Lotus off with several "lariat clotheslines". The Mad
Soldiers pick up an impressive title defense. This team might be for real
afterall!

International Heavyweight Champion, Megarok along with his valet Clover
joined Toshibi Kagiro and Kirk Chaser at the ringside announcer's table
during the battle royal. Megarok was wearing his wrestling gear including a
black tank top, camo shorts, and a camo bandana. He sat the shimmering
gold International Heavyweight title on the table in front of him. Several
of the wrestlers glared out from the ring towards the champion before the
bell rang. Megarok is indeed a "marked man". As any champion would be. Fuji
Hakuji wandered dangerously close to the ringside table several times and
each time, Megarok shot him an intense stare that stopped him in his tracks.
Hakuji was instructing three of his men, King Hippo, Cuban Giant, and
Scorp, who were fighting in the battle royal.
Early on, African Warrior was thrown out of the ring by the Cuban Giant. But as the large man paused to admire his handywork he was caught from behind by crowd favorites, Warlord Falcon and Silencer 7, who momentarily joined forces to each grab a leg of the Cuban Giant and heave him over the top rope to the floor. The wild man known as Gorf was the next to go, as King Hippo hurled him over the ropes to the floor. Silencer 7 and Coco Savage exchanged punches for a couple minutes until finally Silencer 7 dodged a shoulder tackle by Coco Savage, and picked Savage up into a backbreaker position and tossed him out of the ring. But Silencer 7 had no time to recover as Pirahna viewed what had just happened to his stablemate, and he charged Silencer 7 and connected with a running neckbreaker that sent both men over the top rope to the floor.
That left four men. Two of them are members of Hakuji Incorporated. King Hippo and Scorp stood on one side of the ring, and on the other side stood Killer Fangs and Warlord Falcon. Hippo and Scorp both nodded at Killer Fangs to join them to team up on Falcon. Falcon was expecting the worst. He was in the ring with three of the biggest heels in the CWI! However, Killer Fangs shook his head and yelled out the word "NOOOO!", then he pointed his finger at both Hippo and Scorp, then did the head decapitation gesture with his finger. Killer Fangs turned to a suprised yet untrusting Falcon. Then both Fangs and Falcon charged at King Hippo and Scorp. The battle was on, and after several seconds of intense action Warlord Falcon eliminated Scorp. Then Falcon went over to assist Killer Fangs who was hanging on by a thread as King Hippo was about to toss him out of the ring. Falcon and Fangs teamed up and delivered several double-team moves before finally both men threw the very large King Hippo over the top rope.
The crow erupted in cheers. And Fuji Hakuji screamed at the referee in protest. And as the ref was distracted, Killer Fangs ended the temporary partnership with Warlord Falcon by taking something from his trunks. As Falcon turned to face Killer Fangs he got a face full of white powder thrown into his eyes, blinding him. Killer Fangs wasted no time in tossing Falcon out of the ring just as the referee turned around. Therefore the winner of the battle royal, the $10,000, and a title shot at International Champion, David Megarok...........is Killer Fangs! Fangs walked over to the side of the ring facing the broadcasters' table. He gave a thumbs down to the champion, Megarok. Megarok mockingly clapped his hands in a showing that he wasn't impressed with the way Fangs won the battle royal.
Stay tuned for next week's Turnbuckle Taboo next Friday night, April 10th. The International Heavyweight title will be on the line in the main event. As David Megarok defends against Killer Fangs! Plus many other great matches! Be there!!
