Measuring the Weight Distribution of the Rider
Horses often react to badly fitting saddles or poorly balanced riders, but it is difficult for the rider to pin-point the exact problem.

Fortunately there is now a way to tell exactly what the horse is feeling by means of a pressure measuring pad, placed under the saddle. Known as the pliance system, it records the amount of pressure under the saddle and the weight distribution of the rider.

This can help to show pressure points created by badly fitting saddles as well as accurately measure the weight distribution of the rider.

Follow the link below to find out more information and see a video of the product in use.

We feel this would be an excellent tool to help assess the fit of saddles, and to improve a rider's seat. Have you used this product or a similar one? Would you be prepared to invest in one?

Whatever your views, please let us know on the 'Riding' discussion board.
