Smooth Racing on NASCAR's Fastest Track

Sorry about the infrequency of the updates.  Now that softball is starting, you can expect things to get worse before they get better.  I will always try my darndest to get the stats up to date by Wednesday.  I play softball on Monday nights now, so the Tuesday is my first free day.

Since we last spoke, Sharon has put up two straight weeks over 400 points.  The last week moved her from second to last all the way up to fourth.  Her sudden change of luck is due to her pickup of Bobby Hamilton before Race 7.  He finished first this weekend.  By the way, Bobby Hamilton was available when Sean & Billy picked up Todd Bodine before Race 5.  Since that pickup, Todd Bodine had scored 268 points, the guy they dropped to get him, Casey Atwood, has scored 408 points, and Bobby Hamilton has scored 739 points.  That's just some really bad team ownering.  Sad to see, really.  Although not so bad for me really, as I am now sitting pretty in second to last, the beer spot.

Oh, I forgot to complain about Jeff Burton.  He has started sucking less recently, but Jeremy Mayfield has picked up the slack and is sucking enough for the both of them.

Tim is still in first, powered by the superior racing of Johnny Benson.  That sentence pretty much tells you that this is a man who should not be counting his chickens right now.
