Junior cleans up
after a rowdy post-race celebration
The regular season is over, and
the final week provided some crazy action. Well at least it did in the Neck division. In the Red division, Brian came in
first and Chris came in second, and both are going to the playoffs. In the Neck division, Leeto made no
effort to replace the injured Sterling Marlin, and that move cost him a playoff
position, as both Todd and John passed over him to take second and third
place. Therefore Tristan (first),
Todd (second) and John (wildcard) made the playoffs.
Here’s the priority order for
drafting positions:
1. Brian Kennealy (14,877 pts)
2. Tristan Caudron (14,548)
3. Todd Dunbar (13,726)
4. John Hering (13,669)
5. Chris Potter (13,514)
In the beer positions, Tim and
Bobby owe Sean/Billy and yours truly a case of beer. Don’t worry, Tim, you only have to buy one case of
beer. Bobby, you can make mine a
case of Bud longnecks, the unofficial beer of NoVa NASCAR.
At the request of Brian Kennealy,
who called me in the middle of the night after an evening of imbibing at the
local watering hole, I’m going to keep the standings for the remainder of the
year for bragging purposes only. I’ll
have a link to it somewhere. The
front page will have the official playoff standings.
