FOR SALE: This is the car that ran the Grove last year as a '64 Olds 442 during the Bud I-5 race, I put a new body on this winter and now it's a '65 Buck Skylark (it really looks like a 66-67 Chevelle now). The car finished 3rd in points last year in the Bud I-5 series for the sportsman class. The car has a full cockpit with none of the original floors or fire wall..... Looks like a Mod or a Late Model Cockpit. It has Coleman swinging pedals (clutch and brakes)with adjustable brake bias and brake gauges, the Master Cylinders were new last year (3 of them) and are afco. It also has a pressure reduction switch on the front break lines.I put new upper and lower ball joints on this winter when I switched the front to disk brakes. I also put on new calipers on the front. It has weight jacks on the front with afco springs and Leaf springs in the rear with lowering blocks and the one on the passenger side has adjustable rear steer. It has a quick ratio steering box out of a '87 IROC. I painted the body red on top and white on the bottom, like the old bud cars of the early 80's. The car comes with a bunch of wheels including some 12" wide wheels with McGreary dirt tires. I also have a set of Plexiglass wings that go with the car for the I-5 races or any open comp race. The rear end is a '59 olds drop out third member Like the ford 9's but the axles are a bunch more heavy duty. I have a set of 538's, 350 gears, spare axles and brake parts. Car comes with the 3 speed tranny and shifter. The Harness was new last year.The car ran Medford, Roseburg(18.5 on the half), The Grove and Willamette speedway(18.9) I have a few spare parts that go with the car including paint ( I got more than I needed). Car comes with Gauges and weighs in at 2900.
The car does not come with the motor, bell housing, electronics, battery, radiator, or the seat that is in it now, I may be able to get a different seat.
I may also have a open trailer with a rack for a floor jack, slide out fenders and tire rack for sale
I am asking 1800.00 for the car, I can come up with a stock 350 and stock Chevy radiator for a little more. The car is Painted but doesn't have numbers on it yet. It is almost ready to go just add numbers and tighten bolts and go.
