This site was created on March 26, 2001 at Angelfire as the Official Homepage of The Patrick Rafter Club, an unofficial Patrick Rafter supporters' club. This site, just like the club, is 100% unofficial. Neither Patrick Rafter nor his management have any knowledge of whatever is posted in this site.

The site name Pat's Paradise was decided by the members of the club. They were asked to submit site name suggestions then were advised to vote for their respective choices. Out of 41 votes, the top three site names are as follows. First came Pat's Paradise which garnered 16 votes equivalent to 39%. Next was Thunder From Down Under with 14 votes, equal to 34.1%. The third choice was Rafter Forever with 3 votes, equal to 7.3%.
