Five Forks Track Classic
Meet Information

The Dinwiddie High School Track Team is pleased to welcome you to the 7th Annual Five Forks Track Classic. This highly competitive event is sanctioned in Virginia, Maryland, North Carolina, and Washington, D.C.

Already recognized as one of the fastest tracks in the state, the track was freshly resurfaced in the summer of 2002. The running surface is a 400 meter, 3/8-inch granular latex track featuring a 9 lane front straightaway. The jumping surfaces are the same with concrete throwing circles. Timing is fully automated.

Awards are presented to the top six finishers in each event and to the top two boys and girls teams. Individual winners will receive wrist watches, second and third place finishers will receive medals, and fourth through sixth places will receive ribbons. Plaques will be presented to the top two teams.

Meet is April 5, 2003.

• Entry deadline is March 21, 2003.
• Scratches are made the day of the meet. No additions after the entry deadline.
• Field events begin at 9:00 AM. Athletes report to their events 20 minutes prior to the start.
• Running events begin at 11 AM.
• Teams are limited to 3 athletes per event.
• All sections run on time.
• Throwing implements will be weighed at 8:30 a.m. at the Press Box area.
• A concession stand is provided for athletes and spectators.
• Adequate restroom facilities and spaces for team tent areas are available.
• Playing boom boxes and radios is not permitted.
• Athletes participating in the JV events are not eligible to participate in varsity events.
