Testud in the semifinal

Sandrine Testud is the third semifinalis of this years Croatian Bol Ladies Open. Although it didn't look like that in the first set of her match against Weingartner...
Marlene Weingartner looked very good and Sandrine was looking for her game and arranging her shots. Sandrine could have won the match more easily considering the fact that she was 3:2 and 4:3 up with the break in the first set. But she could not hold on to her lead twice losing her serve and the set went to the German player 6:4.
Weingartner had 0:40 lead in the first game of the second set but when she could not capitalize on that advantage things went downhill for her. Testud found her game and started to play more agressivly and with more precision and Marlene could not cope with that. The second and the third set were an easy job for the second seed and she won them 6:1 and 6:2.
We now know both participants of the semifinal in the bottom part of the draw. The match is played between the second and the third seed Testud and Montolio.
The interesting thing is that this will be the second semifinal that Testud will play in Bol. The first time she did this in 1991 in her first WTA tour appearance and the first Croatian Bol Ladies Open.
