There are many different possible positions that one can play on a field, just like a football team. But, in a football team, many of the players are linesmen. In warfare, most of the players are Infantry, just like real warfare:

Commander:
Necessary Attributes:
1. Good Leader
2. Good Mediator
3. Smart
4. Quick
What His Job Is: To make important decisions, encourage troops, bring together his men, assign jobs.
What His Job Isn't: To be a front-line infantry (unless no one else is available), to boss people around.
Weaponry Recommended: XP-270. Something not too big unless nothing else is available.

Infantry:
Necessary Attributes:
1. Skilled Warrior
2. Obedience
What His Job Is: To fight on the front lines, to carry out special orders.
What His Job Isn't: To tell others what to do (unless assigned to), to do another person's job.
Weaponry Recommended: CPS-1200. Medium size weapon that won't exactly hamper movement.


Gunner:
Necessary Attributes:
1. Skilled Warrior
2. Strength
What His Job Is: To offer heavy fire support if needed, to defend base from attack, to assist in assaults.
What His Job Isn't: To scout or spy.
Weaponry Recommended: CPS-3200. Large weapon with power that compensates for size.

Scout:
Necessary Attributes:
1. Stealth
2. Loyalty
3. Speed
What His Job Is: To scout the enemy's movements, to serve as the "eye" of the team.
What His Job Isn't: To serve as a mainline infantry, to protect base.
Weaponry Recommended: XP-270. A gun that is small enough to allow speed, stealth, and only enough firepower as assurance.
