Recently, the father of a girl who plays little league football for the Junior Eagles of Brentwood, MO, contacted me. Here is some of what he had to write:
Bailey is
5' 5" and weighs 160. Last season her team didn't keep individual
stats. The season went 1-8. I did see her flip an opposing lineman
over her head during a game. She was instrumental in many tackles and
earned a medal at the end of the season for starting on the defensive line of
every game.
Her team is the Brentwood Jr. Eagles of Brentwood, MO. It is a
"club" team of 7th and 8th graders who play mostly against teams from
private and parochial schools in the area. Her team is loosely associated
with the Brentwood Public Schools.
