This is the trace fossil Zoophycos. There are two lovely specimens here - and thus, two scales :) Actually, just my sandal was supposed to be a scale, but then it almost fell and Mike held it in place...I guess I should have just used his hand...:) Whatever, these were found in some Cretaceous rocks just below the KT boundary.
