Heath Ledger* His performance of Petrucchio inspired me to use bits and pieces of his character in Patrick Verona.

Heath Ledger* Good...I felt great.

Heath Ledger* I was excited.

Heath Ledger* It worked out well because Petrucchio is one of my favorite Shakespearean characters.

Guest SFCarl* Seeing as how "10 Things..." is based on "The Taming of the Shrew", have you done any other Shakespeare?

Heath Ledger* Yes,

Heath Ledger* I've done a few plays, I played in Hamlet.

Heath Ledger* I learned how to speak and articulate Shakespeare.

Guest jazz* I'm looking forward to seeing the movie....Is it a comedy?

Heath Ledger* Yes it is a comedy.

Heath Ledger* Taming of the Shrew was a comedy, and this adaptation is extremely funny.

Guest River* I wanted to know if you're anything like your character, Patrick

Heath Ledger* ummm...

Heath Ledger* Yeah, of course I am.

Heath Ledger* I think it's hard, every role you play there is a certain degree of yourself.

Heath Ledger* On the outside you see a character, but behind that, where it's coming from, is me.

Guest Emmet* How did you handle the stress of filming (especially while being in an unfamiliar city)?

Heath Ledger* I just don't think about the stress, I try and find escape routes.

Heath Ledger* Like I go to Joshua Tree, or some other place with great expanse.

Heath Ledger* It doesn't bother me that much!

Guest Zinn says* How did you first get into acting?

Heath Ledger* I did theater.

Heath Ledger* I did school plays, theater groups and companies.

Heath Ledger* I did workshops, dancing...

Heath Ledger* There never was a time when I said this is what I would do for the rest of my life...

Heath Ledger* It just kind of happened, but I love it.

Heath Ledger* My first role was actually, I suppose, the donkey in the Jesus story...I played the donkey!

Heath Ledger* The year before that, I played the sheep, in kindergarten.

Heath Ledger* I didn't have a scene with Larry Miller, but I'm sure it would've been great.

Heath Ledger* Yes it really was me singing.

Heath Ledger* But that was a stunt guy dancing with my wig.

Heath Ledger* Yes, I did some musical theater, but that's been the first time I recorded in a studio.

Heath Ledger* So I felt like a rock star for a bit!

Heath Ledger* Even though I was singing "I can't take my eyes off of you"

Heath Ledger* My generation of youth in Australia is like the other side of the coin from over here.

Heath Ledger* But we still had clowns, and hassles and all those things!

Heath Ledger* Yeah, I actually know all of them.
