Here's my update:
9/02/01
I know I haven't updated in a loooooong time, but many changes have happened and time has been..well..non-existant . Unfortunately I did not have a very good birthday this past May. On May 6th, 2001 my puppy, Chipper, died. It was something that really upset me. He was only 3 years old. Now I find it hard to remember the little things he did to make me laugh because I didn't get to see him very much due to school and then he died at such a young age. So now I will remember him each year on the day he died, my birthday.
So many things have changed just during the summer. I was working from 7:30 in the morning til 10 at night Tuesday through Saturday. I worked at Dream catchers as the barn manager for a short while and I got a liscense as a groom and hotwalker at Colonial Downs where I worked with a close friend who is a trainer and ex-jockey and her 5 young horses who where in training. I also babysat her 8 year old daughter and worked at her farm where she has 8 other horses. I quit Dream Catchers after completeing an internship assignment by doing a website for them and continued working with Theresa. Now I am working at her place on Saturdays and working towards my National Instructors liscense. I was given a 5 year old rescue horse named Moon who I will be using as a schooling horse in the riding center that her and I are working to start. He is currently not broke, but Theresa has agreed to do that for me.
I just moved into school today. I can't believe that its that time again. Only one more year to go after this. I have been doing a lot of thinking about my career decisions and I think I have decided to go into web development. Someday I would like to start my own business, But I still have a lot to learn. I did go on a relaxing vacation to Gwynn's Island this summer where we stayed right on the water in a rental house. The sunset was absolutely amazing. I did get a new puppy. His name is Gilly and he is a black, white, & tan cocker spaniel. He is such a baby, but he's just got a lot of growing up to do. But I love him a lot. Well I MIGHT get some time to update sometime this year. Until then...tata.
Love,
Jenny
