   Tour Update With Josh Server

"All That" star Josh Server is living the rock n' roll lifestyle these days, bouncing from city to city with the All That Music and More Festival, but he stopped bouncing long enough to talk to us about life on the road.

Naturally, the first thing we wanted was the gossip:   "Reebok has given away these EXTREMELY BRIGHT orange shoes, and the orange shoes have sort of lit our way across country, if you know what I mean. We've got DJ Nabs, and we're all becoming like a tight little click, a family. Which means they all hate me." Aw come on Josh, you know they all love you.

We thought maybe one of the cool things about a tour like this would be seeing all the different cities -- but we thought wrong:
"It depends on whether we have the day off in the cities. But usually we fly in in the morning, do a show that evening, and then we fly out the next morning, so it's kind of hard to see the cities. But I still think it's cool being in all the different places."

Josh said that performing live in front of tens of thousands of screaming fans can get kind of hairy:  "Sometimes some of the bits don't work just as far as the machines or something. Our prop guys are very good, but everything's live, so you just have to keep going no matter what."

Okay so the props usually work. But what about the performers?! On a tour like this, jet lag and fatigue can be major factors:   "We fly everywhere, and all the groups tell us that you get more sleep on a tour bus. You know how going to the airport is always a hassle? Well we do that every morning. But once I get to the show, the energy from the audience pretty much picks me up."

Speaking of the show, here's what Josh had to say about some of the performances:
"Tatyana [Ali] just came on the tour, and I haven't seen her show yet. I'm looking forward to that. Monica puts on a really great show, she's got pyrotechnics and backup singers and all. And you know, all the boy bands, they're all so dreamy and fun and talented, and the girls go crazy for them, so it's fun to watch."

One thing Josh doesn't think is too cool is the ROAD FOOD:   "My whole California "look good, feel great" mentality has just gone by the wayside -- I'm like "Is there any more red meat that I could ingest? Maybe an artery I could clog?" It's really bad, it's like room service or fast food, and I haven't been working out either."

Well whether he's in peak condition or not, he's still hilarious when he's onstage. Catch Josh Server, coming to a town near you on the All That Music and More Festival.
