Hi!
I'm David Carpenter. I teach physics in rm. 1014 at Hayes High School, in Delaware, Ohio. I try to use my experience as a research engineer, amateur astronomer, amateur radio operator, and more, to bring physics to life for my students. I want students to know why they are learning physics. I believe students should be able to use and to apply what they learn. I have a BS degree in physics and an MA in education, both from The Ohio State University. Prior to teaching, I worked on defense related projects as a research engineer at Battelle Columbus Laboratories. My teacher certification areas are physics, mathematics, and gifted education. |

Missed Lab, Test or Quiz Policy
· The first day you return to school, either make up the work or make direct arrangements with the teacher to make up the work.
· Make up work is never done during regular class time (so you don’t miss another period of class).
· Make up work should be arranged to be done after school, or during the teacher’s preparation or study hall period and/or during the student’s study hall period.
· Please discuss with the teacher if there are conflicts.
· Jobs, sports, music, etc., are not justifications for failing to make up work in a timely manner.
