PHYSICS is Phun!
In an increasingly technological world, every voter and consumer would benefit from some physics background.
If so, you should take at least one year each of high school physics, chemistry and biology (The order doesn't really matter, as long as you have the math prerequisites.).
Of course, students interested in the physical sciences and engineering will benefit the most.
Some of the college majors that will probably require you to take college physics courses may surprise you. These include majors such as nursing, nutrition, and physical therapy. Music majors may take a special course on the physics of musical instruments. Business and corporate law majors may need to work well with engineers, and benefit from the background a physics curriculum could provide.
Physics has the same relationship to engineering that biology has to medicine. Engineering is applied physics.
Physics is based more on understanding things than it is on the accumulation of facts.
Once you have acquired a background in physics, you will be surprised to find out how often you will use it in daily life.
