A Memorial To Pumpkin
In 1993, My son Brandon came in the house holding a bundle of fur. He said "Mom, you promised we could get a kitty. The kitten was not very old and fit perfectly in my hand. A little orange tom kitty much like the one in the picture. A name for this kitty. HMMMMMMMMMMM. We couldn't tell if it was a he or she so we decided to call it Pumpkin. And what a fitting name. Through the years Pumpkin grew, and grew, and grew and he loved to sleep in the sun. Well about a month ago, Pumpkin joined Myrtle Mae in Kitty Heaven. He had been suffering badly from fleas and always slept in the attic. I haven't seen him much as I moved to England, but he remained in the states with my son. He dehydrated and when they found him, it was too late, he was near his last breath. They buried him in a nice wooded area in the mountains.
