SO FAR AS I KNOW Bolota Asmeron could be the fastest Eritrean distance runner in the world right now. He is a Junior at the University of California, Berkeley, and his season best include a 3:47.44 in the 1500m and a very fast 13:32 5000m. The times are falling fast and he will be training this summer in Asmara.
