Mebhratom is another Eritrean that has already proven himself within the International running world. Meb has competed for the United States and placed fourth last year in the USATF Outdoor Championships in the 10k with a time of 28:29. Meb competed also for the United States at the 2000 World Cross Championships in which he placed 26th in the mens 12k event.
