At Vinexpo this year the Wine Trade around the world was introduced to the new WINE TEAM of Foncalieu which will be made up of:

M. Philippe GRAS:        North America and the UK

Mme. Ingrid BOERSMA: Northern Europe off trade

Mlle. Galatee FAIVRE:     Marketing Dept. and Asia

Both Ralph ERNST and I are looking forward to working with the Philippe GRAS in devloping this part of the world.

OPPIDUM PREMIUM: A line of high varietal wines 
from Enserune, believed to be the oldest wine growing region in Europe. Located in Southern France, these vineyards date back 2,500 years. We believe the OPPIDUM brand is the first line of wines from Enserune to be marketed in the United States.

SOUTH PEARL: The SOUTH PEARL brand is dedicated to just split varietals a technique that was developed and perfected by the wine  producers of Australia. Since the
grapes are all of French origin, it only stands to reason that France should also be successful in this endeavor. All that is needed is the proper wine making techniques and one of the few in France that has this technology is Foncalieu. The basic idea in producing these split varietal wines is to take the best characteristic of each grape and make a superior bottle of wine. 

We are proud to announce that the WINE ENTHUSIAST decided that our OPPIDUM wines were chosen for tasting by their well know write, Roger Voss for their August edition. The result was very satisfying as he spoke very well of our Syrah and Foncalieu in general. Below please find a copy of what was written.
